East Carolina: The Fayetteville Observer is reporting Terry Holland is interested in Rick Stockstill, Al Golden, and another current head coach. Holland did say he would talk with Greg Hudson if Hudson were interested in the job.

Coastal Carolina: Former South Carolina State assistant Maurice Drayton has accepted the special teams coordinator / wide receivers coach / assistant head coach.

Georgia: Scott Lakatos (UCONN) has accepted the defensive backs job at Georgia.

FIU: FootballScoop has confirmed the hiring of Scott Satterfield as the new offensive coordinator. Satterfield served as the quarterbacks / passing game cooridnator at Toledo this past season.

South Florida: There is a report in North Carolina that East Carolina special teams coordinator / defensive ends coach Vernon Hargreaves will follow Skip Holtz to South Florida. Holtz has said he will keep a couple of South Florida assistants.

Seattle Seahawks: The Seattle newspapers is reporting the Minnesota Gophers offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch is expected to be named quarterbacks coach.

Alabama: Director of player personnel, Jeremy Pruitt has been promoted to inside linebackers coach.

Oklahoma State: We are hearing Houston grad assistant Kliff Kingsbury will be joining the Oklahoma State staff in a similar capacity.

Texas Tech: There is a report that Troy running backs coach Chad Scott will be joining the Texas Tech staff. We are trying to confirm.

Georgia: We hear UCONN defensive backs coach Scott Lakatos has been offered the defensive backs job at Georgia.

LA Tech: Frank Scelfo has been named Interim head coach.

Chicago Bears: Mike Tice (Jacksonville tight ends coach) has accepted the offensive line job with the Bears.

Central Missouri: Montana State OC / assistant head coach Jim Svododa has accepted the head coaching job at Central Missouri.

Central Arkansas: We are hearing Matt Middleton has accepted the quarterbacks job at Central Arkansas.

Murray State: FootballScoop has just learned that MTSU grad assistant Mike Polly has accepted the tight ends / tackles position at Murray State under Chris Hatcher.

LA Tech: President Dan Renau just stated, "I'm very appreciative of what Coach Dooley has done for us. He's given us a good foundation to build on and we wish him well." We are hearing that several prominent people in Louisiana are pushing LA Tech to talk with Tommy Bowden and Major Applewhite. Our source tells us LA Tech did hire Chuck Neinas to help with the search before hiring Dooley.

Western Kentucky: Stanford defenisve backs coach Clayton White has officially accepted the same position at Western Kentucky.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Al Everest will interview for the special teams job.

Quincy University: Head coach Bill Terlinser has been given a 2-year contract extension.

Kentucky: FootballScoop has confirmed that East Carolina director of football operations, Cliff Snow, is heading to Kentucky.

Missouri Southern State University: D2in Joplin, MO is seeking applicants for a position of Defensive Intern Football Coach. This is an entry level position; applicants should be hard working and are looking to get started in college coaching. These positions will include a competitive intern salary. The defensive interns will work with DB's. Interns will be involved in all aspects of coaching responsibilities including recruiting, position coach, film breakdown, film exchange and practice organization. Tennessee: ESPN is now reporting that the reports may have jumped the gun and Kevin Sumlin is still in it. ESPN says the deal with Dooley is not yet finalized.

Dallas Cowboys: There is a report that former Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Paul Pasqualoni will be joining the Cowboys' staff.

Tennessee: Derek Dooley has accepted the head coaching position. Our sources tell us that Dooley will be bringing Terry Joseph (defensive backs) and Tommy Spangler (defensive coordinator) with him to Rocky Top. We have also heard that Dooley has interest in Oklahoma State offensive coordinator / wide receivers coach Gunter Brewer. Another source tells us that Stan Eggan (Louisiana Tech linebackers coach) could be joining the staff, but hasn't been told as of this morning. He may end up as defensive line coach. The same source tells us Kippy Brown could be moving to running backs.

Tennessee: The Salt Lake Tribune says Kyle Whittingham turned down the UT position before Dooley accepted it.

Mississippi State: FootballScoop has confirmed that Dan Mullen has offered Oklahoma defensive line coach Chris Wilson the defensive line job. Our sources tell us it is not a done deal just yet.

Oklahoma State: FootballScoop has just confirmed that Houston OC Dana Holgorsen will be joining the Oklahoma State coaching staff. Our sources tell us there will be some shuffling around on Mike Gundy's staff at Oklahoma State.

Tulsa: Lake Travis HS (TX) head coach Chad Morris has indeed interviewed at Tulsa. We are hearing that director of high school relations Jess Loepp will likely move back on the field to replace Galen Scott. Scott accepted a position at Memphis, as we reported earlier in the week.

Mississippi State: FootballScoop has learned that Manny Diaz has accepted the defensive coordinator job at Mississippi State.

Wagner College: We hear the defensive line job is open.

Seattle Seahawks: ESPN is reporting the Seattle Seahawks will interview Washington defensive backs coach Jerry Gray for the defensive coordinator position.

Southern Miss: With corners coach Travaris Robinson leaving for Texas Tech, it will be interesting to see if Larry Fedora tries to lure LA Tech defensive backs / recruiting coordinator Terry Joseph, as he did last season. Joseph, a highly respected coach, might wait a while to see if Dooley lands the Tennessee job. Dooley's agent is Jimmy Sexton, who graduated from Tennessee.

Kentucky Christian University (NAIA, Mid-South Conference): has an opening for a defensive intern. Pay is $500 per month, housing, and meals. Tennessee: David Cutcliffe has withdrawn his name.

"After much thought and consideration, Karen and I reached the decision that Duke is the place for our family," Cutcliffe said. "We have both family members and lifetime friends in the Knoxville community and share a deep respect for the University of Tennessee. Our ties to the school and the Eastern Tennessee area are obvious. But before Tennessee's hiring process comes to a conclusion, I know that Duke University is where we want to coach."

We've received tremendous support from President Brodhead, Kevin White and the rest of the school's administration and are very grateful for their efforts. Sam Houston State: University of Texas quality control Anthony Johnson will be named running backs coach.

Georgia: Rivals' is reporting Todd Grantham has signed a 3-year deal that will make him the 3rd highest paid coordinator in the nation.

Central Michigan: Our sources tell us Dan Enos has offered a position to Kansas City Chiefs defensive quality control Pat Perles. Perles was the offensive coordinator at North Dakota State from 2005-2008.

Michigan: Rivals' Tom Dienhart is reporting South Florida co-defenisve coordinator / linebackers coach David Blackwell is a candidate to fill the Michigan linebackers job.

Virginia: We heard Mike London has talked the Pep Hamilton (former Chicago Bears quarterbacks coach).
