The Signing Day press conference is the head coach's opportunity to....well quite frankly, to send whatever message he wants to send to the media, fans, recruits, high school coaches, and future prospects. We have compiled some interesting quotes from Signing Day press conferences. Check it out.
Signing Day Coaches Recap (Part 3)
Georgia Tech: Our sources have just informed us that Navy assistant Joe Speed will be joining the Georgia Tech staff on the defensive side of the ball. Speed coached the defensive backs at the Naval Academy. We have not confirmed his new title at Georgia Tech.
Rutgers: We are hearing this morning that former FIU defensive coordinator Phil Galiano will be joining the Rutgers staff. We are not certain which position Galiano will hold, but it could be the tight ends position that was vacated when Joe Susan left for Bucknell.
Nebraska: All of the Nebraska assistants have signed new contract. Defensive coordinator Carl Pelini's new salary will be $375,000. Last season, Carl Pelini made $208,360.
Montana State: Former Youngstown State offensive coordinator Brian Wright has joined the Montana State staff as the new offensive coordinator.
