Dartmouth: Our sources tell us former Illinois wide receivers coach Jim Pry accepted the offensive coordinator job at Dartmouth.

North Texas: We hear former Colorado State OC Greg Peterson interviewed for an assistant coaching position at North Texas.

Chowan University: We are hearing Ellsworth JC (IA) assistant Ryan Kluever accepted the defensive line job at Chowan University.

St. Louis Rams: Former South Florida head coach Jim Leavitt will be assisting the Rams' during the combine evaluations.

Albright College: We have learned that Mercyhurst College tight ends / tackles coach Stephen Rivera has accepted the outside linebackers job at Albright College.

Middle Tennessee State: With Steve Ensminger taking the LSU tight ends job, it will be interesting to see if Mike Schultz now lands the MTSU offensive coordinator job.

Arizona Cardinals: There is a report that Ken Whisenhunt has been offered a 4-year extension with an option for a 5th year worth a total of $30 million. General manager Rod Graves will also be receiving a new contract.

LSU: We are hearing that Steve Ensminger has accepted the tight ends job at LSU.

Cornell: Our sources tell us Mississippi College defensive coordinator / defensive backs coach Brian Young accepted the defensive backs job on Kent Austin's staff at Cornell.

Millsaps College: Our sources just told us thatOakland Raiders assistant special teams coach Aaron Pelch has accepted the head coaching job at Millsaps College (MS).

Northern Colorado: We hear North Colorado talked with former Colorado State offensive coordinator Greg Peterson.

Kansas City Chiefs: Trip MacCracken has been hired as director of football administration.

USC: Lane Kiffin has just hired former Trojan and NFL veteran safety Sammy Knight as defensive grad assistant. Knight will work with the USC defensive backs.

Idaho: Southern Utah assistant Al Papuno accepted the tight ends job at Idaho. Papuno played 7 seasons for the San Diego Chargers.

Thursday: Coaches Quick Hits

LSU: We are hearing Texas Tech's Steve Ensminger, Texas A&M - Commerce assistant Jack Peavey, and UCF assistant Tim Salem, and South Florida assistant Larry Scott all interviewed. We heard former Illinois and TCU offensive coordinator Mike Schultz may have also talked with Les Miles. Our source tells us Les Miles will probably decide today between Ensminger and Peavey. Also, we have learned that Hampton University running backs coach / recruiting coordinator Stephen Field interviewed for a position at LSU.

Fort Scott Community College: has an opening for two Defensive Assistant Coaches (Linebackers starts April 1st, 2010) and (Secondary starts July 1st, 2010). Responsibilities include academic counseling, video editing, fundraising, off season conditioning, and dorm supervision. BC Lions (CFL): We hear former NY Jets defensive line coach Kerry Locklin, Oregon State grad assistant Robin Ross, and Hamilton Tigercats assistant Ed O'Neil are the finalists for the defensive line position with the BC Lions.

Valdosta State: We hear defensive grad assistant Ryan McNamara will coach the tight ends.
