Northern Colorado: We are hearing that Greg Peterson is now going to Northern Colorado as the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach. Peterson had recently joined the North Texas staff as the wide receivers coach. Also, we are hearing Brad Bedell has joined the staff as offensive line coach.

Eastern Michigan: We are hearing that University of Findlay offensive coordinator Doug Downing accepted the running backs job under Ron English.

Western Illinois: Former Arkansas State offensive coordinator Doug Ruse accepted the offensive coordinator job at Western Illinois.

New Mexico State: Former Utah State running backs coach (2006-2008) Shaun Johnson has joined the New Mexico State staff as running backs coach.

Wake Forest: Tight ends / fullbacks coach Steve Russ will now coach the linebackers. Steed Lobotzke will coach the offensive line and tight ends. Lobotzke also serves as the offensive coordinator. Defensive coordinator Brad Lambert will now coach the safeties. Defensive backs coach Tim Billings will now coach the defensive ends. Keith Henry will move from defensive ends to cornerbacks. Running backs coach Billy Mitchell will coach the fullbacks in addition to the running backs. Mitchell is also the associate head coach.

Wesleyan University: Williams College coach Mike Whalen has accepted the head coaching / assistant AD position at rival Wesleyan University. We had heard early in the week that an defensive assistant coach in the MAC was a finalist for this job.
