Howard University: Our sources tell us former Bethune-Cookman offensive coordinator Brad Bernard, former Bethune-Cookman wide receivers coach Ray Gross, and former Alabama State offensive line coach Kenny Ray have all joined the staff at Howard University.

Texas Tech: We are hearing that Troy grad assistant Sean Reagan will be joining the Texas Tech staff as an offensive grad assistant.

University of Findlay: Former Ball State assistant Ed Stultz accepted the offensive coordinator position at University of Findlay.

Lamar University: Former Sam Houston State head coach Todd Whitten has joined the Lamer University staff as offensive coordinator.

Drake: We are hearing Lambuth University (TN) defensive coordinator Tom Allen accepted the defensive coordinator job at Drake University. Allen will replace Neal Neathery, who joined Larry Coker's staff at UT-San Antonio.

Cincinnati: Butch Jones will reportedly make $1 million with a $50,000 guaranteed increase each year for 5 years. Incentives include $35,000 for Top 25 finish, $100,000 for BCS appearance, $50,000 for Big East championship.

University of St. Thomas: located in St. Paul, MN, invites applicants for an Assistant Football Coach. The position will include coaching a position group in the defensive front and maintaining a recruiting area. Candidates should possess qualifications that include; relevant football coaching/playing experience, and a commitment to the development and welfare of student-athletes within the philosophy of NCAA Division III. The position has a contract length of 10 months, will be compensated with an $8,000 to $10,000 stipend dependant upon qualifications. Pursuing a graduate degree is possible at The University of St. Thomas or one of the 15 post graduate schools in the Twin Cities area. Mount Ida College: a small private liberal arts college in Newton, MA, (near Boston), is looking for a restricted earnings wide receivers coach. The position will pay a stipend and provide some meals during the season. Searching for local candidates that would be able to start ASAP for spring football. The Citadel: Tight ends coach Ryan Hearn has indeed accepted the head coaching job at West Port HS (FL).

Cal: Ronnie Bradford has joined the staff as a defensive administrative assistant. Bradford work with the Kansas City Chiefs last season with Cal defensive coordinator Clancy Pendergast.

Sacramento State: Former Sacramento State head coach Bob Mattos passed away on Sunday after a battle with brain cancer. Mattos coached Sac State from 1978-1992.
