Southwest Minnesota State: FootballScoop has just learned that Cory Sauter has accepted the head coaching job at Southwest Minnesota State.

Carnegie Mellon University: is currently seeking applicants for a full-time assistant coach in its NCAA Division III football program. Responsibilities for this 10-month position include implementation of a training and practice schedule, recruitment of potential student-athletes and specifically coaching defensive backs, linebackers, or wide receivers. Additional responsibilities include supervision of football strength and conditioning program, video editing, teaching in the physical education program, other assigned administrative duties; home event management for winter and spring athletic events. A national research university, Carnegie Mellon is a member of NCAA Division III and the University Athletic Association. Qualifications: Masters Degree preferred. Bachelor's degree required with 2-3 years collegiate coaching experience with defensive backs, linebackers, or wide receivers. This position is a full-time 10-month appointment. Starting date is August 1, 2010. Salary range $28,000-$30,000 plus an excellent benefit package including tuition remission. Winnipeg Blue Bombers (CFL): Chris Wiesehan accepted the wide receivers job.

North Dakota: We hear Greg Breitbach will be staying at North Dakota as the offensive coordinator.

University of Oregon: Long-time University of Oregon employee Lorraine Davis will serve as the interim athletic director. A national search is underway for the next AD.

Missouri Southern: Our sources tell us that former Catawba offensive lineman Gary Bass has accepted the offensive intern position at Missouri Southern.

Itawamba Community College (MS): We hear Catholic HS (Baton Rouge, LA) assistant Gabe Fertitta has accepted the offensive coordinator job at ICC.

Villanova: Former Eastern Illinois player Nick Kray has accepted the defensive quality control job at Villanova.

Sioux City Bandits (IFL): Dakota State defensive coordinator Alvin Ashley joined the Sioux City Bandits staff as defensive coordinator.
