Southeastern Louisiana: Head coach Mike Lucas has agreed to a contract extension through 2012.

St. Lawrence University: Head coach Chris Phelps has resigned to accept the head coaching job at Salisbury Prep School (CT).

Tennessee Tech: We hear the running backs job is open.

Robert Morris University (IL): Robert Morris (Illinois) plans to begin playing football (NAIA) in 2011, with recruiting operations expected to begin in Fall 2010. They are looking to hire a head coach and multiple assistants.

Arkansas: Our sources tell us that Arkansas State defensive line coach Kevin Peoples has accepted an off-the-field position on Bobby Petrino's staff at the University of Arkansas.

Arkansas State: We hear University of Central Arkansas defensive tackles coach Adam Federle has accepted the defensive line position at Arkansas State, replacing Kevin Peoples.

Aurora University: Grad assistant position. Aurora is an independent, comprehensive institution founded in 1893 offering bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. Our two campuses are located in Aurora, Illinois and on the shores of Geneva Lake in Wisconsin. We seek people passionately involved in the educational process who will help us realize our vision. Aurora University invites applications for a graduate assistant position in the sport of football for the 2010-2011 academic year. The successful candidate will serve as an assistant coach for the football program while pursuing a graduate degree in the MATC or MBA programs. Other degree programs may also be considered. This position is a two year commitment, from August 15th to May 15th each year. The graduate assistant must meet GPA requirements and work responsibilities for reappointment for the 2011-2012 academic year. Includes tuition waiver and a $5,000 per year stipend. Requirements: A bachelor's degree is required and evidence of football experience (playing and/or coaching) is strongly preferred. Admission to the graduate program is required. A valid driver's license and driving record which meets institutional requirements is required. Responsibilities: To assist the head coach with practice organization and implementation, game day responsibilities, transportation, recruitment, video and scouting, equipment control and inventory, and academic monitoring and mentoring. United States Merchant Marine Academy: Assist the Head Coach in all phases of the Football Program including day to day office operations, travel, recruiting database, mailings, equipment, game day operations, recruiting weekends and other duties to be assigned. This is not a football coaching position. USMMA is one of the five Federal Service Academies. The minimum qualifications are a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline and demonstrated experience with football.
