Southern Arkansas University: Invites applications for an Offensive Graduate Assistant. Applicant must have experience coaching receivers or played receiver in college. Valley City State: Position Description: Assistant football coach with offensive coordinator coaching responsibilities and assistant men's and women's track and field coach for indoor and outdoor seasons. The position is a nine and one half month benefited position. Summer camp stipend also available. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Demonstrated experience in coaching offensive side of football and coaching and/or participating in track and field. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree, accomplished coaching background in both football and track and field, excellent communication skills; strong organizational and leadership skills; a proven ability to recruit quality student-athletes; a commitment and history of integrating the student athlete into the campus community of a small college; Football coaching experience at the collegiate level. To Apply: Send application letter, resume and name/title/phone number/e-mail of three current professional references to: bj.pumroy@vcsu.edu or B.J. Boise State: Head coach Chris Petersen has received a contract extension through the 2014 season worth $8 million. Petersen has a $650,000 buyout if he chose to leave Boise State before January 31, 2015. According to the Idaho Press Tribune, "There also will be bonuses for performance, including $75,000 for a conference championship, $35,000 for a bowl berth without a conference championship, and $125,000 for a BCS berth. He also would get $20,000 if his team's annual Academic Progress Rate is 955 or above. He also will get $10,500 for winning the 2010 Bear Bryant coach of the year award. With his guaranteed compensation and longevity bonuses, Petersen would make $1.489 million in the contract year ending Jan. 31, 2011; $1.49 million in the contract year ending Jan. 31, 2012; $1.59 million the following year, $1.69 million the year after and $1.79 million in the contract year ending Jan. 31, 2015."
