Southwest Minnesota State University: invites applications for a full-time athletic fixed-term Assistant Football Coach/Athletic Administration position to begin as soon as possible. SMSU is located in the town of Marshall (pop. 13,000) in southwest Minnesota. Working with Head Coach Cory Sauter, the Assistant Coach will be involved in all aspects of coaching responsibilities including recruiting, practice planning, game planning, organization, scheduling and trip organization. The coaching responsibilities will be less than 50% of the position. Other job duties to be assigned may be in Academic Success, Game Management, Travel Coordination, Fundraising, Weight Room/Fitness Center, or other assignments that reflect the expertise of the candidate. Position may include some budgeting and hiring/supervising student workers. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree is preferred. A minimum of three years college football coaching experience. Previous recruiting experience referred. Offensive line coaching or coordinating experience preferred.
