Prairie View A&M: Our sources have just told us that LSU defensive grad assistant Raasaan Haraleson has just accepted the cornerbacks job at Prairie View A&M.

Augsburg College: Our sources tell us that Coe College grad assistant Joe Frietag accepted the offensive line job. We also hear that Augsburg has filled the linebackers position with former Winona State tight ends coach Jon Kyte.

Northern State: We are hearing that Northern State will hire from within for the two positions posted.

Tusculum College: We are hearing that former West Georgia offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Spencer Riley accepted the offensive line job at Tusculum College.

Omaha Nighthawks (UFL): Head coach Jeff Jagodzinski has hired former USC offensive line coach Pat Ruel in the same capacity. Former Virginia and Louisville defensive coordinator Rick Lantz has been hired as defensive coordinator. Former Princeton head coach Roger Hughes will have a position on the offensive side of the ball. Former Texas A&M assistant Kirk Doll will serve as the special teams coordinator. Doll coach the tight ends and special teams last season at Texas A&M.

Peru State (Nebraska): Grad assistant / residence life. Starts July 1. Compensation will be an annual $10,000 stipend, graduate school tuition, campus housing and meals during the academic year based upon the dining services hours of operation. QUALIFICATIONS: This is a two-year assistantship that requires a bachelors degree, admission to the graduate program of the College, a background in residence life and collegiate playing/coaching experience. This twelve-month position requires work hours outside of the normal workweek, including evening, weekend and holiday hours. RESPONSIBILITIES:The Graduate Assistant will be expected to participate as an active member of the Residence Life Team. They will support and assist in fulfilling the mission of the Housing Department and Peru State College. The Graduate Assistant will reside in Delzell Hall and provide supervision for residence hall staff and residents, and other duties as assigned. The Graduate Assistant will also serve as an assistant football coach. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, coaching, all aspects of recruiting, assisting with film breakdown, game and practice preparation which includes video cut-ups, serving as an assistant for equipment, and other duties as assigned.
