USC: "Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel" is reporting that USC is paying Lane Kiffin $4 million per year. Since USC is a private university, officials had not publicly announced Kiffin's salary.

University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire: (DIII) in the WIAC conference has opening for a Defensive Graduate Assistant/Part-Time Coach. The position includes a $3-5,000 stipend but does not include tuition or benefits. Position will have own position group to coach on the defensive side of the ball. Williams College: Williams College has hired Columbia defensive coordinator Aaron Kelton as head football coach.

Illinois College: A Division III program in the Midwest Conference invites applicants for entry level, Intern Positions (1 TE/1 DB or DL) to coach in the 2010 season. Experience playing and/or coaching these positions is preferred. This is a non-benefit position that pays $5,000, housing and meals (when classes are in session). Candidates will be responsible for on-field coaching, video breakdown, web-based game exchanges, recruiting and other duties as assigned by the head coach. Seattle Seahawks: Scott Fitterer has been promoted to director of college scouting. Eric Stokes has been promoted to assistant director.

Tennessee Titans: Seattle Seahawks VP of player personnel Ruston Webster has joined the Titans' staff in a similar role.

Mount Allison University (New Brunswick, Canada): (CIS) is accepting applications for a Defensive Coordinator. Experience coaching Linebackers preferred. This position is set up for the fall. Responsibilities include coordinating the defense, recruiting and other duties assigned by the Head Coach. There is no teaching with this appointment. Purdue: Offensive quality control Kyle Smith is moving into the offensive grad assistant position. Smith will work with the Boilermaker tight ends.

East Mississippi CC: Andy Siegal, who served on Larry Fedora's staff at Southern Miss this past season, has accepted the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks job at East Mississippi CC. Former Catholic University (Washington D.C.) wide receivers coach Josh Pruitt has joined the staff as well. Former Hinds CC defensive coordinator Larry Williams will also serve on the East Mississippi CC coaching staff.
