Thursday: Coaches Quick Hits

Florida Tuskers: Bill Bradley will return as defensive coordinator. Former St. Louis Rams assistant Al Roberts will serve as the special teams coordinator. Jim Lanford will serve as a special teams assistant. Former NY Jets defensive line coach Kerry Locklin will coach the defensive line. Former Ohio State grad assistant Fred Pagac will serve as the defensive quality control.

Ball State: Chris Shula has accepted a grad assistant job on Stan Parrish's staff at Ball State. Chris Shula is the son of former Cincinnati Bengals head coach Dave Shula. He spent this past year as a compliance assistant at the University of Oklahoma.

King's College : Assistant Football Coach. Defensive Restricted Earnings Position - 10 month postion begining Aug 1st. $10,000 NO HOUSING, but some meals will be provided. Assist the Head Coach in all phases of the football program. Coach own position on defensive side of the ball. Recruitment of student-athletes, will have an on the road recruiting area. Hawaii: It will be interesting to see if Hawaii head coach Greg McMackin has interest in luring Mouse Davis back to the Hawaii program.

Ellsworth Community College: is currently seeking qualified applications for an Assistant football coach and Intramural Director. Defensive Back coaching or playing experience and Bachelor's degree preferred. Recruiting, program development, video work, overseeing/running intramural activities twice a week in our new Fitness/wellness Center and other related activities assigned. We are a 2 year school in the Mid West Conference. Both Stipends equal about $5,000 plus room & board. Otterbein College: seeks two candidates for two Graduate Assistant Football Positions, one for offense and one for defense. These coaching position will include a recruiting area and coaching a position. There are also video breakdown responsibilities (LRS preferred), as well as day to day operations of the football program and other duties assigned by the Head Coach. Montreal Alouettes: Our sources tell us that Winona State co-offensive coordinator / recruiting coordinator Carson Walch will serve as a "guest coach" for Marc Trestman's staff in Montreal during training camp.

Gattaca (NJ): is currently seeking qualified candidates for an offensive intern and a defensive intern. Duties include coaching a specific position, assisting the coordinators, some recruiting, organization and planning of practices, game preparation, administrative tasks, scouting, and film editing. A Bachelor's degree is required. This is an unpaid internship with no housing and no benefits. The start date for these positions is July 7, 2010. Central New Jersey applicants preferred.
