Widener University: Our sources tell us Millersville University tight ends coach Terry Owens has accepted the running backs job at Widener University.

Concordia University: Ann Arbor, Michigan is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Football Graduate Assistant. This position will be heavily involved with the building of a brand new football program. Responsibilities will include assisting the head coach in all aspects of the program including, but not limited to recruiting, practice, game coaching and monitoring academic success, and other duties as assigned by either the head coach or athletic director. Qualifications must include; bachelor's degree; collegiate and/or professional playing experience and strong background in football knowledge and terminology. Successful candidates should display great integrity and have a demonstrated commitment to the CUAA mission and values of learning, leadership, faith, and service. Review of applications begins immediately and will continue until the position is filled. The position includes tuition waiver towards attaining a Master's Degree. Begins August 2010. UAB: We are hearing the Valdosta staff offensive assistant Paul Streaker and Valdosta State defensive assistant Will Weaver have both accepted grad assistant jobs with the UAB staff. Our source tell us Streaker will serves as the offensive GA and Weaver will be the defensive GA.

Averett University: We hear a grad assistant / wide receivers job is open at Averett University.

Lake Forest College: Former Indiana player Matt Kurz will coach the inside linebackers. Recent Lake Forest graduate Dan Carter will coach the wide receivers. Sean McNicholas has joined the staff as tight ends coach. Head coach Jim Catanzaro will coach the corners. Pat Pistorio and Glenn Graham have left the coaching staff.

South Florida: Our sources have just told us that defensive grad assitant J.R. Reid has decided to leave Skip Holtz' staff to resume playing football. Reid has joined the Florida Tuskers squad in the UFL.

Louisiana-Lafayette: Former head coach / AD Nelson Stokley has passed away. Please keep Coach Stokley's family in your thoughts and prayers. Stokley served as the Ragin Cajuns' head coach from 1986-1998.

SUNY Brockport: We hear that grad assistant Mike Epstein has been promoted to full-time defensive line coach. Epstein worked with the wide receivers this past season.

Methodist University: We have learned that Heidelburg University grad assistant (defensive backs) coach Zach Hufford accepted the defensive assistant job at Methodist University.

John Carroll University: (Defensive line / offensive intern receivers) in University Heights, Ohio is looking to fill two intern coaching positions for the 2010 Season. John Carroll University is a NCAA Division III institution and competes in the Ohio Athletic Conference. The defensive Intern will coach the defensive line and the offensive intern will coach receivers. These are 10 month positions and do include a stipend. Qualified candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and a knowledge of or experience in coaching collegiate football. Playing experience at the college level is highly desired. Western New Mexico University: Has an Offensive Assistant Coaching Position open. The position will be working with the Receivers and helping with special teams, possibly coordinating a few of the units. We are looking for candidates who also have a very good understanding of run schemes and pass protection schemes and will be able to assist the OC in overall game planning. Candidates will also have video/editing responsibilities and strength training responsibilities. The position pays $24,000 and includes benefits. Previous college coaching experience required, Master's Degree strongly preferred, video, and strength experience preferred. University of Wisconsin-Whitewater: (NCAA Division III) is accepting applications for the Athletics Operations/Football Equipment Room Manager position for the 2010-11 academic year. This appointment may begin as an internship and transition to a full-time position, depending on funding and qualifications of the candidate. The successful candidate is expected to work extended hours, assist in administrative tasks for the Athletic Department and Football Program as well as manage the Football Equipment Room.
