Cumberland University (TN): Defensive line coach Brian Waite accepted a high school coaching position.

Muskingum University: invites applications for a one-year with a one-year renewable contract as a Football Intern. This position is under the supervision of the Director of Athletics and the Head Football Coach. Duties include assisting with all phases of the intercollegiate football program and any additional duties assigned by the Director of Athletics. This is a ten-month appointment. Position includes salary of $16,100 paid in twelve monthly installments and housing. Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree. Michigan: Lloyd Carr has decided to retire from his administrative duties at Michigan.

Ellsworth College: is looking for 1 coach...offensive experience preferred...$2,800 plus room and board additional stipend may be included for some housing duties etc. Email: michael.virden@iavalley.edu

North Dakota State College of Science: has two Defensive Assistant Coach Positions available; Defensive Line and Linebackers. Start date is August 1st and runs through the end of the fall semester (mid December). Housing (shared apartment with other assistants) and meals are provided. A stipend of $3250 will be given for each position. Previous experience coaching Defensive Line or Linebackers or college playing experience at either position required. The successful candidate will coach his own position and be assigned additional duties by the head coach; including but not limited to, weight room supervision, study table monitoring, morning check-in, and video editing. NDSCS is a public two-year college located in Wahpeton, ND and is a member of the NJCAA and Midwest Football Conference. Please, only serious inquiries. Presentation College (SD): Pat O'Brien accepted the defensive coordinator / linebackers job.

Delta State: Our sources tell us that Kentucky Christian University defensive backs coach Rod West accepted the defensive grad assistant position at Delta State.

Marshall University: OC / offensive line coach Bill Legg will make $156,500. Quarterbacks coach / assistant head coach Toney Petersen will make the same $156,500. Defensive coordinator / linebackers coach Chris Rippon will earn $151,500. Defensive assistant Fred Tate will earn $65,000. Running backs coach / recruiting coordinator JuJuan Seider will earn $76,500. Wide receivers coach Zach Smith will earn $53,000. All assistant have an incentive in their contracts. Each will get 1-month salary for a bowl appearance and would get 2-months salary for a BCS appearance.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Head coach Mike Tomlin has agreed to a 3-year contract extension through the 2014 season. Financial detail are not available, but Tomlin's first contract has an average salary of $2.5 million.

Occidental College (CA): Fort Dale Academy assistant Stephen Sorrells has accepted the offensive line job at Occidental College.

Midwestern State University: (NCAA Division II / Lone Star Conference) is currently seeking a Full-Time Defensive Line Coach. Experience playing and coaching Defensive Line preferred. Master's degree preferred.
