Miami (FL): South Florida assistant AD for communications Chris Freet has accepted an associate AD position at Miami (FL).
South Florida: Defensive grad assistant Patrick St. Louis accepted the defensive coordinator job at Clearwater Countryside HS (FL).
Albright College: Former Portland State running backs coach Jesse Thompson accepted the wide receivers / DFO job at Albright College.
Grinnell College: Department of Physical Education/Intercollegiate Athletics, has an immediate opening for a part-time Assistant Football Coach (August thru mid-November) for the 2010 football season. Responsibilities: Assist in planning/conducting training sessions, game day management, recruiting calls, and preparing reports. Requires interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work independently, and as a member of a team. Experience playing and/or coaching at the college level is preferred. Bethany College: is seeking qualified applicants for an internship level position as assistant football coach. This position will report to the Head Football Coach and duties will include coaching, recruiting, and fundraising. Additional duties may be assigned by the Head Coach or the Director of Athletics. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, a valid driver's license, and playing experience at the collegiate level. Preference will be given to applicants with experience coaching or playing defensive secondary positions. Knowledge of and adherence to Bethany, NCAA division III, and Presidents' Athletic Conference rules and regulations are also required. This position has an expected start date of August 1, 2010. Employment will continue through the end of the academic year with the possibility of rehire for the following year. Compensation includes stipend, room, board, and a graduate school tuition waiver.
