East Carolina: We have learned that special teams coordinator / defensive ends coach Mark Nelson has resigned. What a crazy year in the coaching profession!

Tennessee: Harry Galbreath passed away today due to a heart ailment. Galbreath is a former NFL player, UT strength coach, and Tennessee State offensive line coach. He was 45 years old. Please keep Harry Galbreath's family in your thoughts.

Fort Hayes State: Our sources tell us that Angelo State grad assistant Brett Harvey has accepted the offensive line job at Fort Hayes State.

Cumberland University (Lebanon, TN): has an IMMEDIATE opening for an offensive grad assistant. Previous college participation and/ or coaching, and experience in using video editing systems is preferred. Duties will include assisting the Head coach and all Coordinators with all aspects of running a fundamental football program by adhering to conference, and university rules and regulations, recruitment of future student-athletes, coaching a position, monitoring current athletes, video editing responsibilities, and all other duties assigned by the Head Coach. Graduate School Tuition, On-Campus Housing, Books, and Meal Plan will be provided (No monthly stipend or Off-Campus Housing Stipend is Available with this position). A Bachelor's Degree and the ability to obtain admission into the Cumberland University Graduate School will be required. Southern Oregon: We have learned that Northern Illinois defensive grad assistant Brad Brachear accepted the special teams coordinator / linebackers job at Southern Oregon. Brachear worked with the defensive backs at Northern Illinois. Our source tell us the staff is complete at Southern Oregon.

Kentucky: Our sources tell us Carter Barfield has joined the Kentucky staff as the video grad assistant. Barfield previously served as the quarterbacks coach at UT-Martin.

Juniata College: Defensive intern. Immediate opening for a defensive intern position at Juniata College. 10 month contract from August 1st 2010 to May 31st 2011. Starting salary will be $8,000 plus room and board and benefits. Job responsibilities will include working with the secondary, recruiting, academic mentoring, player development, video (DSV experience preferred) and other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach or Athletic Director. Mississippi College: We have learned that Forest Hill HS (MS) defensive coordinator Mitchell Pate accepted the defensive grad assistant job at Mississippi College.

Salve Regina University: Offensive line coach Tim Keppel has left the staff to accept a position at Immokalee HS in Florida.

Bucknell: We have learned that University of Iowa assistant director of football operation Dan Wolfe has accepted the administration coordinator of operations & video job at Bucknell.
