Tennessee State: Sources tell FootballScoop Eddie George and Hue Jackson plan to hire another former Ohio State running back. More on the hire here.

Memphis: Memphis has announced Charles Bankins as special teams coordinator and Brad Salem as tight ends coach, with David Glidden moving to wide receivers. Bankins replaces Drew Svoboda, who is now at Alabama. Salem, the former offensive coordinator at Michigan State, spent this past season as senior offensive consultant at Memphis.

Montana State (FCS): Ryan Weese has joined the staff as on-campus recruiting coordinator.

Edward Waters (NAIA - FL): Sources tell FootballScoop that Virginia State (D-II) offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach / assistant head coach Toriano Morgan has landed the head coaching job at Edward Waters.

NAIA: A state mask mandate is forcing one top NAIA program who had earned home field advantage to hit the road.

Last Chance U: Charges against former Last Chance U star and Independence CC head coach Jason Brown have been dismissed.

Alabama: Just don't ask Nick Saban about injuries during spring ball. Aight?

Southern Arkansas (D-II): SAU Football is seeking a graduate assistant football coach. The position is flexible based on best fit. Minority candidates are encouraged to apply. Oklahoma State: Per source, Baylor offensive graduate assistant Zach Crabtree is leaving Baylor to be an analyst at Oklahoma State. Crabtree worked with the Baylor offensive line during his time with the program.

Colorado School of Mines (D-II): Thanks for the overwhelming response to our tight ends position, we are no longer reviewing resumes.

Riverside City (JC - CA): Riverside City College, 2019 CA State Champions, has an immediate position open for a running backs coach. We are seeking a well qualified coach with significant experience coaching running backs at a competitive collegiate level is preferred. This coach will exhibit the ability to teach excellent technique and fundamentals, have a strong recruiting background with experience recruiting the inland empire, possess the ability to support diverse groups and make a year round commitment to executing seasonal responsibilities related to the football program. Kansas: In an email to donors sent Thursday night, Kansas AD Travis Goff said he will begin a national search for the next KU head coach. Current head coach Emmett Jones is a candidate for the job and Goff and Jones met Thursday.

Recruiting: The dead period is officially ending after 16 months, and that’s not all. Major changes coming to recruiting this summer.

Union College (D-III - NY): Union College (NY) Has an open position on staff. Responsibilities include assisting head coach in all aspects of a highly competitive Division III football program, including but not limited to: coordinating offensive unit, coaching offensive line, recruiting, student-athlete development, ensuring academic success of student-athletes, practice and game planning, management of staff, rules and compliance. Additional responsibilities include a secondary assignment within the athletics department, as well as other duties as assigned. Masters of Sports Administration:Upper Iowa’s MSA degree provides learners with the current theories, concepts, and learning models necessary to assume administrative, coaching and leadership roles in high school, higher education and sports business settings. The online degree is available with emphasis in Sports Management or Coaching & Leadership Education.
