FBS Staff Tracker: The 2020-21 FBS Staff Tracker page, where you can see how each new head coach is filling their staff, is up and running.

Recruiting: The NCAA is reportedly talking about letting head coaches back on the road for the spring evaluation period.

USC: The Trojans program reportedly had a homeless man gain access to facility, sleep there, eat there, jump in the hot tub with players, and even participate in practice before he the imposter was caught.

Carthage (D-III - WI): Carthage College has an open position we are looking to fill immediately on the offensive side of the football, working with the running backs. The position is a restricted earnings position. As the running backs coach, you will have your own position, meetings, and own recruiting area. Dan Campbell: The first-year Lions coach shared some motivational thoughts on adversity and the city of Detroit with Ford auto workers recently that has had social media buzzing.

Thaddeus Stevens (JC - PA): Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology is currently seeking an Assistant Football Coach. The position includes a stipend, for interested candidates who are in a commuting distance from the school (Lancaster, Pa.). Coaching responsibilities to include but not limited to Linebackers. Experience playing and coaching Linebackers is preferred. Responsibilities include all aspects of the football program, including practice organization, academic support and recruiting. CAA: Major news in the CAA, where the No. 1 team in the country is back in contention for the CAA title.

Wisconsin-Eau Claire (D-III): University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, is looking to fill one (1) open date for 2021, September 18th OR September 25th are currently open. Looking for a home game in 2021, willing to travel in 2022. Interested in Division III or NAIA teams. Willing to travel for a guarantee game. Auburn: Jeff Hanel has been officially announced as director of football branding and creative.

Akron: Cole Abbey, who worked in as assistant director of player personnel for the Zips, has accepted a position outside of football.

Nebraska: Bergen Catholic (NJ) quarterbacks coach Jon Germano has accepted a position on the Nebraska staff.

Florida: Former Colorado defensive coordinator Tyson Summers is being added to the staff as an analyst, Matt Zenitz tweets.

Auburn: Brendt Bedsole has been formally announced as director of high school relations.

Tulane: Former Tennessee offensive quality control coach Michael Colosimo has joined the staff as an offensive analyst and Jesse Schmitt is joining the Green Wave as a special teams analyst after spending the past three seasons at Purdue as a graduate assistant working with running backs and special teams.

Western Carolina: After a disappointing spring season, Mark Speir will not return to lead the Catamounts.

Midwestern State (D-II - TX): Midwestern State is currently seeking a Graduate Assistant Football Coach. The position includes a stipend, housing, and tuition assistance for graduate school. Coaching responsibilities to include but not limited to Defensive Backs. Experience playing and coaching Defensive Backs preferred. Responsibilities include all aspects of the football program, including but not limited to, practice organization, contest preparation, recruitment weekends, student athlete development, spring football practice, and other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Scoop 'Em Up: Cornell Brown, who assisted with one of college football's best defenses last season at Marshall, is looking to land a defensive assistant or analyst role for the fall season. As the assistant defensive line / defensive ends coach for the Thundering Herd, Marshall finished last year #1 in the country in scoring defense, and top five in total defense (2nd), redzone defense (3rd) nad run defense (5th). Brown has previously coached the outside linebackers at Virginia Tech (where he also worked as a defensive graduate assistant working with the defensive line) as well as in the CFL where he worked with the defensive line for the Calgary Stampeders and Frankfurt Galaxy. Coach Brown has done minority coaching internships with the Bengals, Browns, Texans and Dolphins.
