Syracuse: Source tells FootballScoop Ryan Bartow has accepted a position in recruiting at Syracuse. Bartow, who has been serving as a West coast scout for XOS, served as director of high school relations at Oregon in 2018 and had been with 24/7 many years prior to going to Oregon.

Oregon State: Oregon State is seeking applicants for their director of recruiting position. This position manages the recruiting function and provides professional-level support to the OSU Football Program. The Director of Recruiting plans, schedules and oversees the entire recruiting process including prospect identification, evaluations, official visits, unofficial visits, and recruiting budget oversight. This position maintains and manages all recruiting calendars, schedules, and related databases. Screening the public interest and energy is essential to the position. This position performs administrative and analytical assignments, which require independent judgments with respect to University and NCAA guidelines. Coordinates and acts as liaison with the academic community, the general public, and other staff members within the athletic department. Richmond (FCS - VA): Cody Gray has been promoted to an Offensive Quality Control role source tells FootballScoop. Gray is a former defensive lineman at Richmond.

Colorado: Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Greg Roman has emerged as a candidate for the CU head job Colorado Rivals' site is reporting.

Texas: Texas regents have approved contracts for several assistant coaches Brian Davis has shared. Mike Yurcich gets a 3 year deal at $1.7 million per year. Chris Ash has a two year deal worth $800,000. Jay Boulware (special teams / tight ends) gets a three year deal at $700,000 per year and Coleman Hutzler (linebackers) gets a two year deal at $600,000 per. Real money.

Colorado: CU "may reach out to" Oklahoma defensive coordinator Alex Grinch and USC offensive coordinator Graham Harrell, tweets Bruce Feldman.

Minnesota: Former Kent State head coach Paul Haynes is expected to be the cornerbacks coach at Minnesota, tweets Pete  . Haynes spent 2019 at Michigan State.

Auburn: Chad Morris will be one of the highest- and lowest-paid offensive coordinators in the SEC next year. Details here.

Colorado: Mike Klis has tweeted that "There might be a change of plans." with regards to Eric Bieniemy. Stay tuned sports fans.... Update: Klis deleted the tweet saying he was prank called. Carry on.

Art Kehoe: Beloved former Miami offensive line coach Art Kehoe has suffered a stroke the Miami Herald has reported. Kehoe is at Miami's Baptist Hospital recovering. Please keep Art in your prayers.

Michigan State: Ted Gilmore is leaving Wisconsin's staff to become tight ends coach for Mel Tucker at Michigan State. Mel Tucker has also now formally announced the hire of Cody Cox (DFO), Geoff Martzen (DPP) and Darien Harris (director of player engagement).

New England Patriots: Joe Houston has been hired as an assistant special teams coach, according to Bruce Feldman. The former USC kicker was a special teams analyst for Alabama in 2019.

Eastern Illinois (FCS): Neal Davis has been hired as a GA working with the offensive line, and Brandon Bishop (wide receivers) and Jimmy Meussling (video and operations) have been hired as quality control assistants.

Albany State (D-II - GA): Source tells FootballScoop IMG quarterbacks coach Seth Strickland has accepted the same role at Albany State.

Buffalo: Lance Leipold has signed a new contract to remain at Buffalo. Details here.

Highest-Paid Assistants: Taking a look at the highest-paid offensive line coaches, where a different Georgia coach leads the list this time.

Youngstown State (FCS - OH): Cincinnati offensive quality control Josh Sinagoga will be the new wide receivers coach at Youngstown State, sources tell FootballScoop.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff (FCS): Interim head coach Doc Gamble is expected to be named UAPB's full-time head coach soon, AD Chris Peterson told Deltaplex Radio.

Louisiana-Monroe: Offensive line coach Eman Naghavi is being promoted to offensive coordinator, sources tell FootballScoop.

Albany (FCS - NY): RPI offensive line coach and DFO Bob Johnson is joining the program as an offensive assistant working with the O-line, per source.

Colorado: After sources indicated Colorado was nearing a hire, the Buffs are now tapping the brakes on naming Mel Tucker's replacement.

San Diego State: Kyle Hoke, Brady's nephew, has joined the staff as safeties coach.

McDaniel College (D-III - MD): McDaniel College, located in Westminster, MD, is looking for a part-time assistant coach to work with the wide receivers. Compensation package includes a stipend and potential for classes if interested. Local candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Richmond (FCS - VA): Linebackers coach Justin Wood and cornerbacks coach Rod West have been named co-defensive coordinators and Drew Anthony has been promoted to safeties coach.

SUNY Morrisville (D-III): SUNY Morrisville, a member of the Empire 8 Conference, has an opening for an Assistant Football Coach - Offensive Coordinator. Duties will include coordinating the offensive unit in all phases, coaching an offensive position group (QB preferred but will accept other positions), developing and mentoring our staff’s young offensive assistant coaches, as well as assisting with special teams as needed. In addition to on-field responsibilities, this position will include teaching 8 credits per academic year in the areas of Coaching and Fitness. Preferred candidates will have 3+ years of NCAA coaching experience or 10+ years of High School coaching experience. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred.
