FBS Staff Tracker: The 2020-21 FBS Staff Tracker page, where you can see how each new head coach is filling their staff, is up and running.

Detroit: The Lions have named Dom Capers senior defensive assistant.

LSU: Blake Baker will earn $1.05 million on a two year deal per Brody Miller.

Las Vegas: The Raiders have announced Ron Milus (defensive backs), Richard Smith (linebackers), Addison Lynch (assistant defensive backs) and Ryan Milus (defensive quality control).

LSU: New defensive line coach Andre Carter's first year salary will be $200,000. In year 2 he'll earn $450,000 per Brody Miller who notes the Jets still owe Carter money from his contract they terminated.

Green Bay: Packers defensive coordinator Mike Pettine's contract is expiring and we will not return tweets Tom Pelissero.

San Francisco: The 49ers are hiring Cory Undlin as pass game specialist / secondary coach Field Yates tweets.

NCAA: The NCAA finalized a few adjustments to the recruiting calendar on Friday.

Indianapolis Colts: The Colts are expected to hire Press Taylor as senior offensive assistant tweets Albert Breer. Taylor was the Eagles quarterbacks coach / passing game coordinator under Doug Pederson.

North Carolina: UNC has now made it official, Larry Porter is back.

South Florida: Sources tell FootballScoop Jeff Scott is planning to hire Bobby Bentley as his new receivers coach at USF.

Florida: Garrick McGee has been formally announced as the Gators new quarterbacks coach. As we shared yesterday, McGee spent last season as an analyst with the program and is the former head coach at UAB and former offensive coordinator at Illinois, Northwestern, Arkansas, and Louisville.

Carolina Panthers: The organization has parted ways with director of football operations Bryan Porter and executive director of football staff Mark Carrier, Josh Klein tweets.

Western Michigan: Offensive coordinator Jake Moreland is leaving the staff for the NFL, according to a report.

Atlanta Falcons: Kyle Smith has been named vice president of player personnel. Smith spent the past 11 seasons in Washington as a college scout but was promoted to vice president of player personnel there in January of last season overseeing both college and pro personnel.

Los Angeles Chargers: Pitt receivers coach Chris Beatty is expected to join Brandon Staley's staff in the same capacity Adam Rittenberg tweets.

East Carolina: Sources tell FootballScoop East Carolina head coach Mike Houston got his man here.

Tennessee Titans: The Titans have announced Luke Steckel as tight ends coach, Ryan Crow as outside linebackers coach, Matt Edwards as assistant special teams coach, and Kenechi Udeze as assistant defensive line coach. Steckel, Crow and Edwards were promoted from within, Udeze coached linebackers at Vanderbilt last year.

Chicago Bears: The Bears have announced Bill McGovern as inside linebackers coach and promoted Bill Shuey to outside linebackers coach.

Troy: Choctaw County (AL) head coach Gary Banks is expected to join Chip Lindsey's staff coaching outside receivers source tells FootballScoop. Banks, a former receiver at Troy who went on to play in the league, has served as head coach at Choctaw the past two seasons.

Masters of Sports Administration: Upper Iowa’s MSA degree provides learners with the current theories, concepts, and learning models necessary to assume administrative, coaching and leadership roles in high school, higher education and sports business settings. The online degree is available with emphasis in Sports Management or Coaching & Leadership Education.

Texas: A key off-the-field staffer may not be joining the staff after all.

South Florida: USF has hired Cam Aiken as running backs coach/run game coordinator, BJ Daniels as an offensive analyst, Reuben Wright as a defensive analyst, and moved wide receivers coach Xavier Dye to tight ends coach/recruiting coordinator. Aiken worked on the Clemson support staff for nine seasons, Daniels is a former Bulls quarterback, and Wright spent 2019 as the defensive line coach at Western Carolina (FCS).

Miami: Bob Shoop is expected to join Manny Diaz staff source tells FootballScoop. David Lake first reported the news.

Southern Miss: The addition of Jeremy Darveau to the staff as offensive line coach / run game coordinator, which we highlighted yesterday, is now official. He takes the place of Cody Kennedy, who left to become the tight ends coach at Arkansas.

Tennessee: Josh Heupel lands a key recruiting staffer in Knoxville, holding off USC.

Saint Francis (FCS - PA): Scott Lewis is returning to his alma mater as defensive coordinator after spending the past four seasons at Nebraska-Kearney (D-II) where he was the defensive coordinator / inside linebackers coach. Lewis was a two-time All-American as a player and is one of the all-time leading tacklers at the FCS level.

Iowa State: Taylor Mouser, a longtime staffer who has served in a variety of roles including most recently as senior quality control / offense, has been promoted to tight ends coach.

Brown (FCS - RI): Athletic director Jack Hayes is leaving the school on February 5th to become senior advisor to Bruin Sports Capital. Colin A. Sullivan, the deputy director of athletics, will serve as interim athletics director while the school conducts a national search for the next AD.

LSU: Andre Carter has officially been announced as defensive line coach.

Notre Dame: Some advice on a recruiting trip, and COVID restrictions for coaches, sparked an idea for a book for Brian Polian on connecting with today's players.

East Central CC (JC - MS): East Central Community College is currently seeking two volunteer coaches / part-time student services assistants, preferably with Mississippi ties, for the 2021-22 season. The two positions available are running backs and defensive backs. These two positions are 9 month positions that require competent computer skills (hudl, and microsoft office). Duties will include working with student services and monitoring a campus dorm. Compensation is based on an hourly wage with meals, insurance and dorm housing provided. USC: Clay Helton's Trojans have been making moves in Texas, and now they're reportedly trying to hire away a key piece from Texas.

Philadelphia Eagles: Michael Clay, the assistant special teams coordinator for the 49ers since 2016, has been offered the special teams coordinator job, Zach Berman tweets. Geoff Mosher adds that Eagles safeties coach Tim Hauck, who had been part of the staff since 2016, will not return.

Houston Texans: Lovie Smith should be finalized as defensive coordinator today Ian Rapoport tweets and also adds that additions of Tim Kelly (OC) and Pep Hamilton (QBs) should become official as well.

Detroit Lions: The Lions have announced the additions of Duce Staley (assistant HC / running backs), Mark Brunell (quarterbacks), and Mark DeLeone (inside linebackers).

Georgia Southern: Running backs coach Chris Foster has been offered other jobs and is expected to leave the staff. More on the situation here.

San Diego (FCS – CA): University of San Diego is accepting applications to fill an offensive intern opening for the Spring 2021 FCS season. This is an entry-level position responsible for daily practice and meeting preparation, opponent film breakdown, and any additional administrative support assigned. This is an UNPAID intern position without housing or benefits. Preferred candidates will be proficient in Microsoft Office, photoshop, and have prior experience with DVSport video editing software. The final candidate must successfully pass a background check prior to start date. The ideal candidate is already living in Southern California. This is a unique position that has allowed several former interns to move on and become GA’s or position coaches throughout the NCAA. Seattle Seahawks: Rams assistant offensive line coach Andy Dickerson is joining the staff and will have the title of run game coordinator, Michael Silver tweets. He joins fellow Rams assistant Shane Waldron in Seattle, who held the passing game coordinator title in LA and is the new Seahawks offensive coordinator.

Tennessee Titans: The team is expected to promote tight ends coach Todd Downing to the offensive coordinator post, Ian Rapoport tweets. He takes the place of Arthur Smith, who became the head coach of the Falcons.

Independence CC (JC - KS): Sources tell FootballScoop that Independence, one of the top junior college programs in the country and the home of Last Chance U seasons 3 and 4, has their new head coach, along with a new coordinator.

New England Patriots: Pro scout Ronnie McGill, who has been with the team since 2010, and the Patriots have parted ways, Neil Stratton shares.

LSU: LSU has now announced the hire of Blake Baker.

Washington Football Team: The organization has parted ways with three scouts including Cole Spencer (national scout), Jeff Scott (assistant director of pro scouting) and Brian Zeches (personnel coordinator / pro scout), Neil Stratton tweets. Stratton adds that VP of player personnel Kyle Smith may also be on the move.

Ole Miss: Sources tell FootballScoop Lane Kiffin is getting his man for his defensive line job.

Boise State: Sources tell FootballScoop Andy Avalos is hiring the head coach from a top JuCo program.

Rowan (D-III - NJ): Rowan University is looking for a game week 3 in 2021 (Sept. 18) and 2022 (Sept. 17). Or We are looking for a game week 4 in 2021 (Sept. 25th) and 2022 (Sept. 24th).
