Liberty: Former Hawai'i defensive coordinator Corey Batoon will join the staff as safeties coach, source tells FootballScoop. Defensive coordinator Scott Symons will move to linebackers.

Florida: We're told Kerwin Bell will not be joining the staff.

Hawai'i: Hawai'i is expected to hire GJ Kinne as Todd Graham's offensive coordinator, tweets ESPN's Adam Rittenberg. Kinne was most recently an offensive assistant with the Philadelphia Eagles and played for Graham at Tulsa.

Wisconsin: Wisconsin has extended Paul Chryst's contract through Jan. 31, 2025. Chryst is 52-16 with three Big Ten West championships in five seasons.

Cue the Hysteria: The Big Ten has proposed letting all college athletes transfer one time without penalty. Details here.

Cleveland Browns: The organization has announced the additions of Bill Callahan (OL) and Bills coaching intern Callie Brownson (chief of staff).

Hawaii: Dan Phillips has been hired as special teams coordinator and defensive assistant. Phillips spent the past two seasons as special teams coordinator / defensive backs coach at McKinney HS (TX) and prior to that spent five seasons as an analyst under Todd Graham at Arizona State.

Florida: Former USF offensive coordinator Kerwin Bell is joining the Gators as an analyst, while former USF head coach head coach Charlie Strong is still mulling over the opportunity, Matt Baker tweets.

North Texas: Mike Ekeler has now been announced as special teams coordinator.

Auburn: How Chandler Morris talked Chad back into coaching.

Denver Broncos: John Pagano is joining the Broncos as outside linebackers coach, Mike Klis tweets.

Houston Texans: Indiana State corners coach Deon Broomfield is joining the Texans as a defensive assistant, Adam Rittenberg tweets.

New York Giants: Penn State defense line coach Sean Spencer is expected to leave to join the Giants staff in the same capacity, per multiple reports. Spencer had been on staff with James Franklin dating back to 2011.

Tennessee: Source tells FootballScoop that director of programming for football Joe Osovet is being promoted to an on-field role as tight ends coach, and Brian Niedermeyer (who worked with the tight ends last year) will move to inside linebackers. We understand the moves are expected to become official later today.

Harvard (FCS - MA): Harvard University is looking to hire a female or male administrative assistant to work in the front office adjacent to the head coach’s office. As an integral member of the football TEAM this position will work closely with the Head Coach, Administrative Coordinator, Operations and Recruiting Coordinator. Applicant should have strong communication and people skills and be able to communicate with a diverse group of people including coaches, student-athletes, alumni and other Harvard employees. This entry-level position will require various administrative skills including digital, database and social media competency. (Graphic design skills are a plus). The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced, competitive environment. This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits. San Francisco 49ers: With defensive backs coach / passing game coordinator Joe Woods expected to take the Cleveland Browns defensive coordinator job after the Super Bowl, the Niners are considering former Dallas Cowboys defensive passing game coordinator Kris Richard to replace him.

Lindenwood (D-II - MO): Lindenwood is looking to hire a Defensive Quality Control position. This is an entry level position. Salary is roughly $1,000 a month with no benefits, housing or meals. Preferred candidates will have prior experience playing/coaching on the defensive side of the ball, preferably in the defensive line. Candidates will be responsible for assisting a position group, a recruiting area, film editing/breakdown (HUDL), and all other duties assigned by the head football coach/defensive coordinator. Masters of Sports Administration:Upper Iowa’s MSA degree provides learners with the current theories, concepts, and learning models necessary to assume administrative, coaching and leadership roles in high school, higher education and sports business settings. The online degree is available with emphasis in Sports Management or Coaching & Leadership Education.

University of St. Mary (NAIA - KS): Per source, Grinnell College (D-III - IA) offensive coordinator Tyrone Carter has been hired as offensive line coach / run game coordinator.
