Michigan State: We know how Mel Tucker will divide up his $6 million salary pool, and it's a perfect example of the gap between the Haves and Have Nots within the Power 5.

Florida: Athletic director Scott Stricklin shares that he has had discussions with Dan Mullen on a contract extension, but there is no timetable for completion. Stricklin adds that he expects Mullen to be a Gator for a "long time."

Maryville College (NAIA - TN): Maryville College, a private liberal arts college in Maryville, TN. They are seeking applicants for a full-time offensive line coach / strength and conditioning coordinator. The coach will be responsible for coaching the entire offensive line on the field. They will report to the Offensive Coordinator. Duties will include recruiting, film breakdowns, practice planning and other duties as assigned by the head coach. They will also be in charge of the strength and conditioning program for football. Duties will include managing weight room times for the football team in conjunction with the Maryville College and NCAA DIII requirements, program and train the football team in season as well as out of season. Qualified applicants must have experience coaching the offensive line at the collegiate level as well as experience in Strength and Conditioning. The qualified candidate MUST possess a CSCS certification or have the ability to PASS the CSCS certification exam within 1 month of hire. SEC: An hour before hitting the field for spring practice, Alabama has announced that they are suspending practice until further notice. Source tells FootballScoop the entire SEC is doing this. Update:The SEC has now announced it is suspending "all organized team activities, including competitions, team and individual practices, meetings and other organized gatherings" through April 15.

Georgia: Kirby Smart and staff members required to self-quarantine, per report.

Dallas Renegades (XFL): Asked if he will return to the Renegades next season, Bob Stoops told the Dallas Morning News, “That’s what I anticipate. That’s what I’m intending to do, but you don’t know where you’ll be at this time next year.”

NCAA: The NCAA is suspending all on and off campus for all sports until at least April 15th, a number of outlets are reporting.

COVID-19: As we all face and navigate the COVID-19 uncertainty, these staffs deserve special recognition.

FIU: FIU football is suspending spring practices until further notice. Conference USA is leaving the decision of spring practices up to each individual member institution.

Big Ten: The conference has announced it is suspending all team activities - including spring practices - through April 6th, when it will then reassess.

Missouri: As of this morning, Missouri is still planning to have spring practice this afternoon, but it's possible that changes in the next four hours Gabe DeArmond tweets. LSU senior associate AD

Bryant (FCS - RI): Head coach Chris Merritt has announced the addition of Ken Goodwin as the team's defensive line coach. Goodwin spent the past six seasons at Stonehill College (D-II - MA) and the past three seasons there have been as defensive coordinator.

Michigan: Joe Staab has joined the Michigan staff as a defensive analyst. Staab was coaching nickels at the University of San Diego.

Teamworks:Teamworks has made the decision to open the platform to any collegiate or professional team who wishes to use it, free of charge, so they can reliably communicate with their athletes and families during the challenging weeks ahead.

Simon Fraser (D-II - Canada): Mike Rigell has been named as the team's interim head coach. Rigell previously served as receivers coach / special teams coordinator and recruiting coordinator. He takes over for Thomas Ford, who is taking a position with a Power Five program.

South Dakota State (FCS): South Dakota State University is looking to hire a Director of Media Production. This is a 10-month stipend position with no benefits, housing or meals, with the opportunity to earn additional income through summer camps. Preferred candidates will have prior experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, and other video/picture editing software. This person will be responsible for running all social media platforms, producing all creative media (graphics, highlights, hype videos) as well as any other duties assigned by the Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. COVID-19: Entire Power Five conferences are suspending all athletic related activities, including spring practices and recruiting.Update: The NCAA has now canceled all winter and spring championship events.

Masters of Sports Administration: Upper Iowa’s MSA degree provides learners with the current theories, concepts, and learning models necessary to assume administrative, coaching and leadership roles in high school, higher education and sports business settings. The online degree is available with emphasis in Sports Management or Coaching & Leadership Education.

NFL: NFL organizations are beginning to pull coaches and scout off the road.

Massachusetts Maritime Academy (D-III - MA): MMA currently has two Intern Positions available. All positions will be considered. Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with preference being given to those with recruiting, strength & conditioning or social media experience. Knowledge of Hudl and or frontrush is a plus. Candidates will be responsible for coaching their own position, recruiting a specific area, film breakdown and all duties assigned by the head coach. Compensation is $13,000.00 spread over a 12 month commitment that comes with housing and meals (while classes are in session).
