Old Dominion: Back in December, ODU & Bobby Wilder reportedly had closed in on a five year extension. Today, multiple outlets are reporting the two sides have finally inked the deal. Pat Forde is reporting it is a five year deal at $650,000 per year. Update> ODU has announced the new contract, including a statement that seven assistants will sign two year contracts within the next month.

Guns in stadiums: Arkansas state representative Charlie Collins says to "count on" teams of snipers being at Arkansas home games in the near future.

Michigan State: Per source. Miami (OH) graduate assistant Joe Bowen has joined the Michigan State staff in a role working with the special teams / defense.

New Mexico: After losing two graduate assistants to coordinator positions, the University of New Mexico is looking for qualified applicants for both an offensive and defensive graduate assistant. The position is contingent on being accepted to graduate school so a 3.0 undergraduate GPA is preferred. Experience working with the offensive line, defensive line or secondary is preferred. Notre Dame: Miami (OH) graduate assistant Aaron Coeling has joined the Notre Dame staff in a graduate assistant role working with the offensive line, sources tell FootballScoop.

St. Joseph's (D-II - IN): Following the announcement that the school would be closing suddenly, a number of St. Joseph's assistant's have landed on their feet. Head coach Daniel Day will coach the offensive line at Benedictine University (D-III - IL), special teams coordinator / defensive line coach Greg Holsworth will work with the defensive line at Henderson State (D-II - AR), Brent McClendon will coach the defensive backs at Reinhardt (NAIA - GA), pass game coordinator / quarterbacks coach Robert Dutton landed at Briar Cliff (NAIA - IA) as offensive coordinator, wide receivers coach Dyrell Roberts will work with the wide receivers at Norfolk State (FCS - VA). St. Joseph's defensive coordinator Nubis Padhye and run game coordinator / running backs / tight ends coach Ryan Stokes are still available.

Lindsey Wilson (NAIA - KY): Per source, Lindsey wilson has made a number of staff changes / additions. Matt Wright has been promoted from tight ends coach to run game coordinator / offensive line coach, former Butler (FCS - IN) running backs coach Tyler Bess will coach the running backs, former Southwestern College (NAIA - KS) running backs coach Brandon Owen will work with the tight ends, and Ryan Moore will coach the corners.

Arkansas: Defensive coordinator Paul Rhoads has had his contract approved that includes a salary of $700,000, and according to the Des Moines Register, Rhoads will also make $750,000 annually through 2021 as part of his buyout from Iowa State. Rhoads made $350,000 last season coaching the defensive backs.

Buffalo Bills: The team has dismissed longtime director of player engagement Paul Lancaster, and strength and conditioning assistant / nutritionist and dietician Dan Liburd according to the Buffalo News. Lancaster has been with the Bills for 16 seasons and McMillen has spent 21 years with the organization.

Cincinnati Christian (NAIA - OH): Per source, wide receivers coach / tight ends coach Brian Westbrook, Sr. has stepped down to become the running backs / wide receivers coach at WEst Clermont HS (Cincinnati, OH).

Bucknell (FCS - PA): Mike Weick has been hired to coach the linebackers., and a number of returning coaches will work with new position groups this fall; Mike O'Connor will work with the running backs and serve as recruiting coordinator, Eli Wicklund will move from running backs to corners, and corners coach Eric Wicks will take over the entire secondary with a focus on the safeties. In addition, Darnell Stapleton will serve as run game coordinator and wide receivers coach Steven King is adding special teams coordinator duties.

Oklahoma State: Josh Henson will make $400,000 coaching the offensive line, and running backs coach John Wozniak will earn $250,000, per The Oklahoman.

Central Connecticut State (FCS):Central Connecticut State University is looking for a Division II or Division III opponent for the 2017 season. The potential dates for the game would be September 23rd or October 28th. There is a guarantee included with the game.
