South Carolina: Marcus Lattimore, who has served as an ambassador for the university and who had plans to join Will Muschamp's staff in some capacity before the NCAA ruled that South Carolina hiring him in a coaching capacity would be deemed impermissible, has joined the Heathwood Hall (SC) staff as an offensive assistant.

Arkansas-Monticello (D-II): Cordova HS (TN) defensive coordinator Dominique Bowman has accepted a job coaching the secondary, sources tell FootballScoop.

Arizona Western (JC): Arizona Western is looking to hire a part-time assistant football coach working with the offensive line / running backs. Salary is $8.05 per hour. Bachelor's degree in PE or related field preferred, as well as successful coaching experience at the HS or college level. This position will also help with travel plans and other duties as assigned by the head coach. Faulkner (NAIA - AL): Per source, co-offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Brandon Slay has left the staff to accept a position in sales, and the offensive line job is now open.

ACC: Retired ACC supervisor of officials Doug Rhoads has passed away. Please join us in keeping his family in your prayers.

Avila (NAIA - MO): Avila University has an immediate opening for a defensive line coach. This is a 12 month position and compensation is $10,000 annually. Houston Texans: According to the Houston Chronicle, the Texans have made two staff additions in their scouting department, starting with the promotion of area scout Rob Kisiel to national scout following the retirement of longtime national scout Ed Lambert. Kisiel has previously worked as a scouting coordinator, college scout, and pro scout for the organization. Also, former New England Patriots area scout Frantzy Jordain has been hired as a Southeast area scout.

Hamilton Tiger-Cats (Canada): The Tiger-Cats have hired Stefan Ptaszek as their new offensive coordinator. Ptaszek has spent the last 10 years as the head coach of McMaster University (Canada) and he replaces Tommy Condell, who recently resigned citing family reasons.
