Old Dominion: Old Dominion, one of the first FBS teams to throw in the towel, reiterated today they don't plan to play this Fall. They are looking forward to returning to play "in Fall 2021". In addition to ODU, UConn and New Mexico State are the other FBS programs that currently don't plan to play this Fall.

MAC: The MAC will return to play, the conference has announced. All 10 conferences back in. Let's go! Adam Rittenberg adds MAC games are expected to be weeknight only through the month of November before transitioning to Saturdays in September. The six game "season" will begin Nov. 4 and conclude with a championship game on Dec. 18 or 19.

Kirk Herbstreit: Kirk announced today he "came in contact with the virus" this week. He adds he has tested negative twice since; but will remain at home this weekend. He will still be on College GameDay and will also call Miami - Florida State from his house.

Georgia State-Charlotte: This game has been postponed due to testing and contact tracing issues at Georgia State. This is Charlotte's second straight postponement.

Mountain West: Commissioner Craig Thompson said he expects all 12 programs to play on Oct. 24, the date of the league's restart.

Northwestern: With offensive quality control Andy Belluomini joining the staff at Illinois State, source tells FootballScoop Northwestern intends to promote from within to fill the position.

Macalester College (D-III - MN): Macalester is seeking a highly energetic, hardworking, passionate, and dedicated Offensive Line Coach with college coaching experience in the Twin Cities area. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, coaching a position group, practice planning, facilitating position meetings, player evaluation and assisting with recruiting. Illinois State (FCS): Offensive coordinator Kurt Beathard is no longer with the program after putting a note on his office door. Head coach Brock Spack has announced a shuffling of his staff. More details on the situation here.
