Louisiana Lafayette offensive line coach DJ Looney, a beloved, rising star in the profession, died Saturday. Please join us in keeping DJ, his family and friends in your prayers. Rest in peace and keep shining your bright smile on us all DJ. God bless.

Over the weekend, Dick Trachok passed away at age 94. Trachok was a staple on the Nevada campus, as he played his college ball for the Wolf Pack before going on to serve as head coach from 1959-68. He then went on to become the school's athletic director from 1969-86 when he retired. Please join us in praying for his family.

Georgia: Before the COVID pandemic hit, running backs coach Del McGee and director of player programs Bryant Gantt received raises, the Athens Banner Herald shares. McGee got a $25k bump to $675,000 annually and Gant got an increase of $35k to $175,000 annually.

Southeastern University (NAIA - FL): Southeastern, in Lakeland Florida, is seeking applications for a special teams / DFO graduate assistant. Strong consideration will be taken for former playing or coaching experience on defense. Job Responsibilities: uploading film to Hudl, breakdowns, scouting reports, highlight films/graphics, using photoshop, position meetings, assisting in recruiting, equipment, day-to-day special teams, program operations and any other tasks assigned by the head coach or coordinators. Applicants must be able to work with students and possess strong interpersonal skills. Applicants must be accepted into an SEU Graduate School with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have a desire to work at a Christ-centered institution of higher learning. Graduate Assistant will be provided full time graduate tuition, 14 meals per week (on campus) and a semester stipend for living expenses (no on-campus housing is available). College coaching and recruiting experience is preferred. Applicants must be accepted into the graduate program with a 3.0 GPA. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, equipment organization, practice planning, coaching a position group, leading meetings, film break down, player evaluation and recruiting, promotion and marketing of the program, and assisting in general day to day football operations. This position pays full tuition, a meal plan, as well as a healthy stipend. Webber International (NAIA - FL): Webber International is currently looking to hire a corners coach. The position pays $17K and comes with full benefits but no housing and no meals. Dickinson State (NAIA - ND): Dickinson State University, a NAIA school located in western North Dakota, has an opening for a restricted earnings offensive line coach. This individual will be in charge of running their own meeting room, planning practice drills, assisting with game planning, and have their own recruiting territory among other duties assigned by the head coach. The position pays $10,000 a year without benefits, and free housing through December.
