Rutgers: How did Greg Schiano lure Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Sean Gleeson back home to his New Jersey roots? By offering to make him the highest paid assistant in Rutgers history, per report.

UCF: Tight ends coach Alex Golesh and running backs coach / passing game coordinator Anthony Tucker will both serve as co-offensive coordinators for the program, and offensive quality control assistant Joey Halzle is being promoted to quarterbacks coach.

Colorado State: Sources tell FootballScoop that Sean Cronin is expected to join the staff as linebackers coach. Cronin coached the outside linebackers at USF last season, and the defensive tackles for the Bulls the season before that.

Samford (FCS - AL): Source tells FootballScoop Samford head coach Chris Hatcher continues to consider options for his defensive coordinator position where change is expected; but we hear the search remains ongoing.

Southeastern (NAIA - FL): Southeastern has hired Cesar Rivas-Sandoval as the program's second head coach.

Tosh Lupoi: Alex Marvez tweets that the former Browns defensive line coach will interview for a spot on the Falcons staff, and will also interview for the Cardinals defensive line job.

Boston College: Tem Lukabu has been announced as defensive coordinator.

Mississippi State: Gene Chizik interviewed for the head coaching job over the weekend before deciding to remove himself from consideration, Bruce Feldman tweets.

LA Rams: Running backs coach Skip Peete, who Sean McVay had retained after taking over for Jeff Fisher, has not been retained.

Fresno State: North Dakota (FCS) defensive coordinator Eric Schmidt has joined Kalen DeBoer's staff in a role to be announced.

Washington: Director of player personnel Cooper Petagna has announced he is leaving the program. In addition to his time at UW, Petagna also has experience at Michigan, Cincinnati, LSU and Alabama.

Arkansas: Sam Pittman has announced the final four members of his on-field staff. The on-field staff will combine to make just over $5 million this year, have a look The Arkansas Staff Tracker (2019-20).

Ave Maria (NAIA - FL): Ave Maria University has an open position for a defensive position coach. The position comes with housing, meals, and a monthly stipend of $500. Interested candidates should send a cover letter and resume to amufootballcandidate@gmail.com.

Independence CC (KS): Ronald Barrett has joined the staff as defensive backs coach.

New Mexico Military Institute (JC): Cam DeBesse has joined the staff as wide receivers coach.

Fort Valley State (D-II - GA): Offensive coordinator Buddy Blevins, a Division II FootballScoop Coordinator of the Year finalist, is not being retained by new head coach Maurice Flowers, source tells FootballScoop.

Dallas Cowboys: Former 49ers head coach Mike Nolan will be the Cowboys' defensive coordinator, according to NFL Network. Nolan is currently the Saints' linebackers coach.

Arkansas: The Razorbacks have announced four new hires, all of which we've previously shared. Jon Cooper will coach the tight ends after coaching the same position at UCF the last two seasons, Georgia special teams coordinator Scott Fountain will serve as special teams coordinator, Kentucky defensive line Derrick LeBlanc will coach the defensive line, and Jimmy Smith will coach the running backs after coaching the same position at Georgia State last season.

Dallas Cowboys: Mike McCarthy is "more than open" to keeping offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, Ian Rapoport tweets.

Pat Shurmur: The former Giants head coach and NFL coaching veteran has no plans to sit out in 2020 and hopes to land an offensive coordinator position, according to the NY Post.

Kevin Stefanski: The Panthers are scheduled to interview Vikings offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski Thursday and the Browns could also interview him that day as well, Adam Schefter tweets.

NY Giants: Matt Rhule is scheduled to interview with the Giants Tuesday and Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels on Wednesday, Adam Schefter shares.

Rutgers: Princeton (FCS - NJ) offensive line coach Andrew Aurich is expected to join the Rutgers staff in the same capacity, per multiple reports. Aurich previously coached with new offensive coordinator Sean Gleeson at Princeton.

Rocky Long: San Diego State head coach Rocky Long is considering leaving for a defensive coordinator opportunity, per report.

Boston College: Tem Lukabu is joining the staff as defensive coordinator, Pete Thamel tweets. Lukabu coached the linebackers for the Bengals last season but has college coaching experience at Mississippi State, Rutgers, and FIU among others.

Dallas Cowboys: Mike McCarthy's contract will be for five-years, Todd Archer tweets.

Boston College: Frank Cignetti Jr. has been formally announced as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach.

Illinois Wesleyan (D-III): Illinois Wesleyan University is seeking an offensive graduate assistant to work with the wide receivers. Candidates must be interested in a degree in Kinesiology and Recreation and have a minimum 3.0 GPA as an undergrad. Interested candidates should send a cover letter, resume, and references to Head Coach Norm Eash at neash@iwu.edu.

West Virginia Wesleyan (D-II): WV Wesleyan College has an immediate opening for a restricted earnings position coaching the wide receivers. Primary responsibilities include assisting the Head Coach & Offensive Coordinator in all phases of the football program. Must be proficient in using Hudl Video Editor, Microsoft Excel and Visio. Experience with film breakdown and data entry is a necessary. A stipend will be provided as well as housing. College playing experience and/or previous coaching experience is preferred. LA Rams: Defensive coordinator Wade Phillips has been informed that he won't be retained, Gary Klein tweets. Update >> Phillips himself has shared the news via Twitter, adding that he still wants to coach and still feels that he can contribute.

Snow (JC - UT): Snow College is looking for a volunteer assistant coach on the offensive side of the ball (Offensive Line playing and/or coaching experience preferred) and a volunteer assistant defensive back coach. These positions are available to those looking to gain real, on the field coaching experience at the college level. Position includes, but is not limited to: coaching own position, recruiting assigned area, weekly data input, weekly reports, and other duties assigned by the head coach. Husson (D-III - ME): Husson University invites applications for a full-time (12-month with benefits) position of defensive coordinator. Additional duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach and the Athletic Director. The successful candidate will have 3 years or more full-time coaching experience at the collegiate level. A Bachelor’s Degree is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong background and knowledge of defensive back play. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: overseeing all defensive preparation and performance, supervise the defensive coaching staff, coach a defensive position group, assist in recruiting off and on campus, assist in the Strength and Conditioning and general training of the program and assisting in the academic progress of the student-athletes. Lake Erie (D-II - OH): Per source, Bill Nickell is joining the staff coaching the offensive line. Nickell has served as the offensive coordinator and assistant head coach at Lock Haven (D-II - PA) since 2015. The Ohio native also had stops at Kent State and Urbana (D-II - OH).

Arizona: Former New Mexico defensive line coach Stan Eggen is joining the staff as defensive line coach, per WildcatAuthority.

Mississippi State: An update on Mississippi State's search. The hire is coming...

Florida State: Carlos Locklyn and Jeff Kupper have joined Mike Norvell's support staff. Kupper will serve as director of player development and operations and Locklyn will be the director of high school relations. Both guys join the staff from Memphis, where Kupper was the director of operations and Locklyn was director of high school relations.

LA Chargers: The Chargers are expected to bring back Shane Steichen as their offensive coordinator, Ian Rapoport tweets. Steichen's contract expires soon, but the plan is for him to return after he stepped into offensive play calling duties this year following the in-season dismissal of Ken Whisenhunt.

Dallas Cowboys: Saints linebackers coach Mike Nolan is a name to watch for the Cowboys defensive coordinator job, per multiple reports.

North Carolina: Nebraska outside linebackers coach / special teams coordinator Jovan Dewitt has joined the UNC staff in the same capacity.

Boston College: Frank Cignetti, an NFL veteran coach who most recently coached the quarterbacks in Green Bay in 2018, is joining the staff as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, Bruce Feldman tweets. Cignetti has been an offensive coordinator with the Rams and at Rutgers at Pitt the past decade.

Wash U (D-III - St. Louis, MO): Eastern Michigan offensive coordinator Aaron Keen has been named head coach. Keen is a Wash U graduate and he replaces Larry Kindbom who recently retired after 31 seasons.

Dallas Cowboys: With their first coaching search in 13 years formally underway, the Jones family reportedly has an idea of what it's looking for in a new head coach -- and he's not in the Big 12.

UT Permian Basin (D-II): The University of Texas Permian Basin is seeking a defensive assistant. This is a restricted earnings/part-time position with housing provided. The candidate will be responsible for coaching a position, film-breakdown, scouting reports, off campus recruiting, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Bachelor’s degree required. Hudl proficiency is preferred. Prior coaching or playing experience preferred. Interested applicants should submit a resume and references to head coach Justin Carrigan at carrigan_j@utpb.edu.

Campbellsville (NAIA - KY): Campbellsville University has an immediate opening for a defensive line coach. This is a full-time position. Must demonstrate successful coaching and college recruiting experience. Must have a college degree and character in line with working at a Christian university. No phone calls will be accepted. Washington Redskins: Jason La Canfora tweets that Ron Rivera has interest in bringing Panthers chief negotiator and head of analytics Rob Rogers to Washington, adding that he would take the role of longtime Skins executive Eric Schaffer.

Bowl game: The final bowl game of the season is tonight when University of Louisiana Lafayette faces Miami Ohio in the LendingTree Bowl 6:30pm CT (ESPN). As a reminder, the National Championship is one week from tonight!

Tennessee: Tee Martin has decided to stay at Tennessee and decline Lane Kiffin's offer to become the offensive coordinator at Ole Miss, Jimmy Hyams tweets.

Ferris State (D-II - MI): Ferris State University is seeking Division II opponents and / or FCS with guarantee-opponents and would prefer a home-and-home. Cleveland Browns: The Browns are interviewing Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll today for their head coaching job, per multiple reports.
