FBS Staff Tracker: The 2020-21 FBS Staff Tracker page, where you can see how each new head coach is filling their staff, is up and running.

Tulsa: Akron running backs coach Jayden Everett is expected to be the new running backs coach at Tulsa per Bruce Feldman.

Auburn: Details of Bryan Harsin's contract and buyout at Auburn.

West Virginia: Jordan Lesley, after his first season calling plays at the major college level, has earned a contract extension and more, per report.

UMass: The University of Massachusetts football program is looking to fill a defensive graduate assistant position. This position will receive a stipend and tuition. Preference will be given to applicants with a minimum 3.0 GPA and a minimum of 2 years high school or college coaching experience. Illinois: The program has finalized their four graduate assistant positions. Carson Hall (offensive GA) and Aaron Gonzales (defensive GA) are being retained from the previous staff, while Taylor Reed (offensive GA) and Kevin Richardson (defensive GA) are new additions to the program that played at Arkansas for Bret Bielema. Reed spent the past two seasons as an offensive GA at Auburn, while Richardson coached the defensive backs at Northeastern State (D-II) previously.

Pittsburgh Steelers: General Manager Kevin Colbert has signed a one-year extension with the team.

Kansas: Former standout defensive back Darrell Stuckey has been named director of football relations.

Tulsa: Philip Montgomery has announced that Kendrick Shaver is joining the staff as safeties coach while Carlton Buckels will coach the corners and serve as defensive passing game coordinator. Shaver previously coached the safeties and nickels at Washington State and prior to that spent seven seasons at Utah State where he also held the co-defensive coordinator title.

Iowa: The Hawkeyes have now formally announced the additions of Ladell Betts (RBs) and George Barnett (OL). We touched on the hire of Betts over the weekend.

Grambling State (FCS - LA): Heading into their third game of the season, Grambling is making a coordinator change.

Stephen F. Austin (FCS - TX): Per source, former South Alabama offensive line coach Mike Bangston has joined the Stephen F. Austin staff as assistant offensive line coach.

Mike Gundy: The Oklahoma State head coach shares a story that every coach with kids who play sports should listen to, andtake to heart.

Harding (D-II - AR): Harding University is looking for opponent to scrimmage during March 21-April 3 time frame. Please contact Paul Simmons - if interested.

Drew Brees: The freshly retired Saints quarterback will be an analyst for Notre Dame football, as well as NBC's Football Night in America show.

Texas A&M: Per source, Harland Bower has joined the Texas A&M staff as a defensive analyst. Harland was the defensive line coach at South Alabama for the past three seasons.

Central Michigan: Northwood (D-II - MI) co-offensive coordinator / wide receivers coach Eli Reinhart has joined the Central Michigan staff, per source.

Houston Baptist (FCS): Per source, Shane Eachus is joining the staff as defensive coordinator / safeties coach. Eachus previously served as a defensive graduate assistant at Oklahoma State.


Muskingum (D-III - OH): The program has announced the addition of Isiah Dunning as defensive line coach / recruiting coordinator and the promotion of defensive backs coach Michael Donnelly as defensive coordinator. Dunning previously served in the same role at Notre Dame College (D-II - OH).

Brian VanGorder: The veteran defensive coordinator, who spent the past two seasons calling the defense at Bowling Green, has decided to retire from college football sources tell FootballScoop. However, BVG has a new gig per sources.

University of Fort Lauderdale (NCCAA): Fort Lauderdale is looking to add the following assistant coaches: Defensive coordinator, defensive line, offensive line, linebackers, wide receivers, director of football operations / recruiting coordinator.

Husson University (D-III - ME): Husson University invites applications for an Assistant Football Coach. This position will work specifically with offensive skill players. Iowa: Over the weekend, work broke that Kirk Ferentz is bringing back a former Hawkeye running back to fill an opening on the staff.
