FBS Staff Tracker: The 2020-21 FBS Staff Tracker page, where you can see how each new head coach is filling their staff, is up and running.
Washington Football Team: The WFT has promoted Ron Rose to college scout, Tyler Claytor to BLESTO scout and Connor Barringer to pro scout.
Hope (D-III - MI): Offensive lineman Michael Stephan is leaving the staff to become the head coach at Grant HS (MI), per source. We understand that he may also hold the athletic director duties as well.
Michigan: The recruiting department has added Sydney Sims as director of strategic communication and branding. Sims spent the last year at Notre Dame where she oversaw the football social media accounts and handled student-athletes branding as a member of The Fighting Irish Media team.
Vanderbilt: Bella Baker has joined the staff as on-campus recruiting coordinator. She fills the vacancy left by Christina DeRuyter, who left for a position on the Michigan staff.
Minnesota: Ty Gatson has joined the staff as director of recruiting strategy and communication, per source. Gatson previously worked at UTSA, Arkansas and SMU.
Eastern New Mexico (D-II): Per source, Anthony Vitale has accepted the offensive coordinator / offensive line position. Vitale has previously served on staffs at Delaware State and Southwest Baptist.
NFL: Former NFL player and coach Eugene Chung was told he "wasn't the right minority we're looking for" and now the league is looking into it.
Western Illinois (FCS): Western Illinois University has an immediate opening for a Defensive Graduate Assistant. Candidates must meet admission requirements of minimum 3.0 undergraduate GPA to be accepted into graduate school. Duties will be assigned by the Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator but candidates must be skilled in DVSport or Hudl, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Excel. Murray State (FCS - KY): Murray State University is currently accepting applications for an unpaid, Quality Control Position. This is an entry level position designed for highly motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and an interest in gaining direct work experience at the FCS Level. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of playing experience at the high school level, however, collegiate playing experience is preferred. Off Field Responsibilities include but are not limited to: video upload and editing, opponent film breakdown, opponent reports, assisting with recruiting, tracking recruiting activity, and any other responsibilities assigned by the Head Coach and Offensive or Defensive Coordinators. Fort Hays State (D-II - KS): FHSU Football is seeking 1 Offensive GA & 1 Defensive GA. Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) assisting with a position group, recruiting, film breakdown, and social media/graphic design. Start date is in mid-July and applicants must be admitted into Grad Program. Compensation package includes an $10,000 stipend and 18 credit tuition waiver. Slippery Rock (D-II – PA): Slippery Rock University 2019 National Semifinalist, an NCAA Division II school and member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, is seeking an offensive assistant coach, working with the Wide Receivers. The successful candidate will have previous experience playing and or coaching Wide Receivers or Quarterbacks at the collegiate level. You will control your own position group and have your own recruiting territory. All top three WR’s are returning, including All American, All Region, and All Conference players. (251 Receptions, 3,687 Yards and 45 Touchdowns Collectively). Compensation for this position will be a $10,000 stipend. Housing and meals are NOT included.
