Happy Memorial Day: On behalf of the staff at FootballScoop, we'd like to recognize the soldiers that have paid the ultimate sacrifice today, and would also like to thank all the veterans and current military members for their service to our great country.

Baylor: Director of Athletics Ian McCaw has resigned, noting that that a change in the athletic department is "in the best interest" of the school.

Baylor: Former Wake Forest head coach Jim Grobe has formally been announced as Baylor's "acting head coach." Read more here.

UAB: Head strength coach Trey Clark has been appointed offensive line coach according to Drew Champlin of Clark was Jacksonville State's offensive line coach for two seasons and steps in for Mike Bennefield, who stepped down earlier this month for personal reasons.

Dakota State (NAIA - SD): Dakota State University is looking for a graduate assistant coach. Compensation is roughly $12,000 a year and 2/3 tuition waiver in the Master’s of Educational Technology Program. To get accepted you will need a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.5 and a GRE score of over 270 to get into the MSET program. The MSET at Dakota State is a nationally ranked program for educational technology and is a one year program with the anticipated completion date in August of next year. Job duties would include: Coaching a position, maintaining a recruiting area, assisting in equipment, assisting in strength and conditioning, and other job duties assigned by the coaching staff. Albright (D-III - PA): Albright College is searching for a highly motivated individual to fill the vacant running back position. This candidate must demonstrate a strong desire to recruit and develop qualified student-athletes to achieve success on and off the field. This is an intern position that pays $3,000 over a 10 month period. The coach will be provided college housing and a meal plan to use in one of the campus dining facilities. Coach will be responsible for development of his position group. This includes on-field instruction, conduct own position meetings, film breakdown, recruit an assigned territory, academic monitoring, and any other duties assigned by the head coach.
