Allen (NAIA - SC): Allen University announced Monday it will join the NCAA Division II Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Allen was previously an SIAC member from 1947-68.

SEC: With COVID problems in Baton Rouge and Starkville, the SEC should move the Iron Bowl up to this Saturday.

Mississippi State: The Bulldogs are battling a COVID outbreak and plan to shut down all team activities. Yeah....this isn't good either.

LSU: Uh, this is not great.

Texas A&M: The program has announced that they have paused football activities for today due to a few positive cases. More on the situation here.

Arkansas: Head coach Sam Pittman has tested positive for COVID-19, the school announces, adding that he is not symptomatic and is in isolation at his home. Head here for more, including who will take over as interim head coach.

Youngstown State (FCS - OH): Youngstown State is looking to add a graphic design / marketing intern. This is a great opportunity for students to gain experience within the marketing side of college athletics, work alongside the recruiting department, as well as build a professional portfolio. Utah: Kyle Whittingham shares that they have had two position groups "decimated" by positive COVID tests, including some false positives, which is why they were unable to play their scheduled game vs. Arizona. Several active cases remain, which include staff members, and the program had a rash of cases on Friday. Meanwhile, the Salt Lake Tribune shares that the governor of Utah declared a new state of emergency, and has imposed new COVID restrictions including mandated mask wearing statewide as infections in the state have skyrocketed and deaths have hit a new high. The new restrictions do not stop pro or college sports, and will allow the high school playoffs to continue as long as coaches and athletes test negative and crowds are very limited.

Louisiana-Monroe: ULM has suspended football activities following positive COVID tests from a few athletic department adminsitrative members.

Utah State: The Aggies made the second FBS head coaching change of the year with their decision to part ways with Gary Andersen over the weekend.

Lincoln (D-II – CA): Per source, Christian Williams is joining the staff as running backs coach. Williams joined the American River (JC - CA) staff back in February after coaching at Pacific University (D-III - OR) previously.

#Nuggets: Notre Dame wins a classic, Florida passes Georgia and everything else from a packed weekend.

Deion Sanders: Coach Prime flipped a highly recruited kid from the FBS ranks over the weekend to Jackson State (FCS - MS), and it's a player he has a unique connection to.

Seattle Seahawks: Pete Carroll has reportedly signed an extension that will likely carry him through the end of his career.

Judson (NAIA - IL): Judson University is seeking applicants for an offensive graduate assistant working with quarterbacks, offensive line, or running backs. We plan on adding 2 GA’s in January.
