As the Big Ten Turns: Today's installment ahead of the much-anticipated re-vote focuses on the presidents, who could find themselves stuck between their conscience and reality.

EdjVarsity presents: Best & Worst coaching decisions (Week 1)

BYU: BYU has added an Oct. 2 home game with Louisiana Tech.

Southern Miss: Pete Thamel tweets that Kevin Bolden has been promoted to wide receivers coach, and Brandon Butcher has been promoted to a full-time role as assistant defensive backs coach. Both coaches served in quality control roles previously.

Games tonight: The Steelers take on the Giants at 7:10pm EST tonight on ESPN, and at 10:20 pm EST on ESPN the Titans will take on the Broncos.

Big Ten Hurdle: Michigan is the only state requiring players to wear masks during practices AND competition. Could that impact the pending Big Ten vote to bring football back?

Vanderbilt: Louisiana Tech athletic director Tommy McClelland is leaving to take a deputy athletic director role at Vanderbilt. Also, Dr. Kristene Kelly has joined the athletic department in a deputy AD role as well after previously serving as a senior associate athletics director for varsity sports and senior woman administrator at Dartmouth.

Garden City CC (JC - KS): Former Eastern Kentucky (FCS) offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Adam Austin has accepted an assistant coaching job on the Garden City staff, per source. Austin is also a former FootballScoop Division II Coordinator of the Year finalist from his time at Midwestern State (D-II - TX).

Clark Atlanta (D-II - GA): Assistant recruiting coordinator Glenn Phillips has accepted a new position at Milford Academy (New Berlin, NY), per source.

Air Force: Despite the Mountain West not playing this season, Air Force will host Navy on Oct. 3 and visit Army on Nov. 7, AFA AD Nathan Pine confirmed today.

Big Ten: A vote on the October start is expected today, and some Big Ten schools are expected to sit out fall season if the vote is to play, per report.
