LSU offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger's daughter in law Carley McCord died this morning in a plane crash on her way to Atlanta. Four other lives were also lost. Please pray for everyone involved.
Cal: Legendary offensive line coach Steve Greatwood will retire following Monday's Redbox Bowl. A tribute to one of the best to ever do it.
NY Giants: The opinions are split among decision makers in New York on whether to move on from Pat Shurmur after two seasons, or keep him. Ian Rapoport shares that "president and CEO John Mara is uncertain about moving on from another coach so quickly, while chairman and executive vice president Steve Tisch appears to be in favor of a new coach."
Dallas Cowboys: The Cowboys are expected to move on from Jason Garrett with a loss to the Redskins tomorrow, or if the team were to miss the playoffs, Ian Rapoport reports. He adds that Garrett technically won't need to be fired, as his contract expires and states that it ends either three days after the season, or on January 14th.
Cleveland Browns: The Browns are leaning toward keeping head coach Freddie Kitchens, Ian Rapoport points out.
Carolina Panthers: The Panthers have interviewed former Packers head coach Mike McCarthy twice per Ian Rapoport and Rap adds that the "team also intends to interview Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and Baylor coach Matt Rhule, while Chiefs OC Eric Bieniemy should also get a look among others. "
USC: Defensive coordinator Clancy Pendergast and special teams coordinator / tight ends coach John Baxter will not return to the staff. More here.
Florida State: The Seminoles are adding Marshall defensive backs coach Mike Treier and Memphis tight ends coach Tony Tokarz in senior analyst roles, Pete Thamel tweets.
Cal: After 40 years in the coaching profession, Cal offensive line coach Steve Greatwood has decided to retire after their bowl game. The bulk of Greatwood's time was spent at Oregon (1980-94 and 2000-16), but also had stops with the Rams and at USC and Maryland.
Washington Redskins: Team president Bruce Allen will no longer run the team's football operations after Washington's finale on Sunday, according to NBC Sports Washington.
Florida State: TJ Rushing has been named the new corners coach for the Seminoles. Rushing spent the past two seasons at Memphis with Norvell as the defensive backs coach and defensive passing game coordinator.
NC State: In addition to some announced changes, sources tell FootballScoop co-offensive coordinator Des Kitchings is not expected to return. Full details here.
Carolina Panthers: Northwestern's Pat Fizgerald turned down an opportunity to interview for the Panthers open head coaching job, per a report from Jason La Canfora.
Vanderbilt: Sources tell FootballScoop significant change is coming on Derek Mason's staff at Vandy.
Sam Houston State (FCS - TX): Sam Houston State is looking to fill their DFO position. Details on DFO Scoop.
Eastern Illinois (FCS): Eastern Illinois University is seeking an unpaid Quality Control Assistant for Offense and an Offensive Graduate Assistant. The GA position includes tuition and a monthly stipend. Housing and meals are not included. Must have 3.0 undergraduate GPA. Strong computer skills (ie. Visio / Powerpoint) and experience with Hudl software is preferred for both positions. Cleveland Browns: Michael Lombardi tweets to "expect more than just a head coaching change" in Cleveland.
Ron Rivera: Former Panthers head coach Ron Rivera may have a deal in place with a team within 24 hours after Week 17 comes to a conclusion, Ian Rapoport tweets. Rap also notes that the #Redskins have interest, and "other teams without openings yet are also circling."
Washington Redskins: Former Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis is a serious candidate to fill the Redskins opening, Alex Marvez and other outlets are reporting. Lewis has spent this past season on the staff at Arizona State with close friend Herm Edwards.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Conflicting reports about the future of head coach Doug Marrone in Jacksonville have prompted a statement from the team.

Florida State: Bruce Warwick has been announced as Mike Norvell's chief of staff. Warwick spent the last eight seasons with the Rams as director of operations, and the previous three as assistant to the head coach.
Keystone College (D-III – PA): Keystone College invites applications for the position of Assistant Football Coach/Wide Receivers. Responsibilities will include recruiting, coaching and monitoring your own position, development of student-athletes off the field, analyzing film, as well as other administrative duties assigned by the Head Coach. This is a 10-month, stipend position, which will comply with all NCAA Division III and College rules and regulations. No benefits included. Housing option available, along with some meals. Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree, experience coaching or playing at the collegiate level preferred.
