Pittsburgh Steelers: Quarterbacks coach Matt Canada is the coach who tested positive for COVID within the Steelers organization.
Santa Clara County: Santa Clara County is forcing the 49ers, Stanford and San Jose State to move through at least Dec. 21. More here.
Miami-Wake Forest: The ACC has postponed the Miami-Wake game scheduled for Dec. 5 due to covid issues within the Wake Forest program.
Detroit Lions: The Lions have fired GM Bob Quinn and head coach Matt Patricia, representing a clean break from the club's attempt to duplicate Bill Belichick's program in Detroit. Offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell will take over as interim head coach.
Cleveland Browns: The Browns will employ the first female position coach in NFL history for Sunday's game at Jacksonville. More here.
