Pittsburgh Steelers: Quarterbacks coach Matt Canada is the coach who tested positive for COVID within the Steelers organization.

Santa Clara County: Santa Clara County is forcing the 49ers, Stanford and San Jose State to move through at least Dec. 21. More here.

Miami-Wake Forest: The ACC has postponed the Miami-Wake game scheduled for Dec. 5 due to covid issues within the Wake Forest program.

Detroit Lions: The Lions have fired GM Bob Quinn and head coach Matt Patricia, representing a clean break from the club's attempt to duplicate Bill Belichick's program in Detroit. Offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell will take over as interim head coach.

Cleveland Browns: The Browns will employ the first female position coach in NFL history for Sunday's game at Jacksonville. More here.

Knox (D-III - IL): Damon Tomeo is no longer Knox College’s head football coach. Tomeo held an 18-51 mark as the Prairie Fire’s mentor and the 2020 marked his eighth year leading the program.

Jackson State (FCS - MS): How Deion Sanders and Jackson State took in part of $5.4 million raised for HBCUs by Phil Mickelson, Charles Barkley, Peyton Manning and Steph Curry.
