New York Jets: Head coach Adam Gase's job could come down to Thursday Night Football this week, according to a report.

Georgia State: GSU announced Sunday that its postponed game at Charlotte, scheduled for yesterday, was postponed not due to positive tests but human error. We explain here.

Mississippi State: Immediately after beating LSU, Leach told his team this -- "As good as you think this game was, we have to get better this week."

New York Jets: Chris Mortensen tweets that head coach Adam Gase is "under more intense scrutiny this week, and it's not just the external noise from media or fans," and adds that the team's brass is monitoring this week closely. The Jets, who are 0-2, take on the Colts tonight and play again on Thursday night against the Broncos.

#Nuggets: In his first game as an SEC head coach, the Pirate swaggered into the defending champs' house and set a conference record for passing yards. It was that kind of Saturday.

Virginia Tech: In their first game of the post-Bud Foster era, Virginia Tech played without 23 players and five coaches, including defensive coordinator Justin Hamilton. 29-year-old cornerbacks coach Ryan Smith called the D in a 45-24 win.
