Alabama: Defensive line coach Bo Davis is expected to resign or be fired from his post after the Tide has opened an inquiry into possible recruiting violations, according to Andrew Bone and Aaron Suttles of the Tuscaloosa News.

Stats, LLC: Source tells FootballScoop, Stats, LLC has hired industry leader Jodi Murphy away from JumpForward where she served as Vice President of Coach & Recruiting Solutions. At Stats, Murphy will serve as their executive for football team accounts.

NCAA: The Board of Directors have voted to rescind the ban on satellite camps.

Idaho: Idaho has now officially announced what we reported yesterday. They will drop to FCS, competing in the Big Sky Conference, beginning with the 2018 season.

Greensboro College (D-III - NC): Source tells FootballScoop interim head coach (former offensive coordinator) Erik Westberg is leaving Greensboro College.

Southwest Minnesota State University (D-II): Southwest Minnesota State is looking for a receivers Graduate Assistant coach in a Fast-Tempo / No-Huddle offense. Qualifications include acceptance into graduate school (3.0 minimum GPA), enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester, and meet the MnSCU vehicle driving qualifications. Compensation package includes $8,000/year and Full-Tuition waiver. Review of candidates will begin immediately and continue until filled. Start date in July. Satellite Camps: The Presidents are meeting right now. The agenda includes the option to ratify the new rule banning satellite camps. As we said a few weeks ago and then wrote again earlier this week, we don't expect the rule to be ratified based on what coaches, administrators and NCAA personnel have told us. Will update as more information is available.

Virginia State (D-II): Source tells FootballScoop Virginia State has offered their head coaching position to former Alabama State head coach Reggie Barlow. Barlow accepted the head coaching position at Carver High (Columbus, GA) a few months ago...only to shortly thereafter accept the head coaching position at Sidney Lanier (AL) last month. Barlow served as head coach at Alabama State from 2007-2014.

EWU's Match Coverage System: Eastern Washington University is primarily a quarters coverage team that mixes cover three and zone pressures out of its 4-2-5 front. The Eagles' quarters coverage system is more of a pattern match coverage, not zone drop, which relates to routes based on the movement of receivers and the demeanor of the quarterback.
