The alternative became a safer, three-deep, two-under adjustable pressure package that yielded stops on 82 percent of drives this season with a 29% opponents third down conversion rate. X&O Labs, a research company for football coaches, is releasing an exclusive clinic report next Tuesday featuring Coach McElroy and his adjustable pressure package. Over the last two seasons, the Royals have finished in the top 20 nationally in total defense. In X&O Labs’ exclusive clinic report, Coach McElroy details his pressure patterns, how he trains the underneath defenders to break on the ball and how the free safety can handle both intermediate and deep routes. X&O Labs will release this report next Tuesday.
