Mississippi State: Sources tell FootballScoop Mississippi State officials are considering moving on from Joe Moorhead. More on the situation here.

Cal: Adam Rittenberg shares that Bill Musgrave is the likely hire for offensive coordinator at Cal. Musgrave served as offensive coordinator of the Raiders 2015-16 and of the Broncos 2017-18. Update> Bruce Feldman now shares that Musgrave will be the hire.

Dallas Cowboys: ESPN's Ed Werder reports tonight the Cowboys are planning to move forward without Jason Garrett.

Rutgers: The program has announced the addition of former Scarlet Knights wide receiver Tiquan Underwood as the team’s wide receivers coach. Underwood spent last season as an offensive quality control coach with the Dolphins and prior to that was an assistant at Lafayette.

DePauw (D-III - IN): Offensive coordinator Brett Dietz has been announced as the new head coach of the Tigers.

Wyoming: Bart Miller has been promoted to offensive run-game coordinator and Aaron Bohl to linebackers coach.

Cleveland Browns: Jimmy Haslam stated today they plan to stick with candidates with NFL experience. They plan to interview Greg Roman tonight and Robert Saleh this weekend. They have interviewed Mike McCarthy and have Josh McDaniels slated for next week and Kevin Stefanski as well. When presented with all of this, Bruce Feldman once again stated he is confident in his reporting that the Browns have strong interest in Urban Meyer.

Midland (NAIA - NE): Kansas Wesleyan (NAIA) defensive backs coach/recruiting coordinator Bryant Beal has joined the staff.

Missouri: Cole Cook is joining the Mizzou program as an offensive analyst after previously working as a graduate assistant at Appalachian State this past season.

Cleveland Browns: The Browns plan to interview Ravens offensive coordinator Greg Roman tonight in Baltimore per multiple reports.

Detroit Lions: The team has announced that defensive coordinator Paul Pasqualoni and offensive line coach Jeff Davidson have decided to step away from football. The Lions note in the announcement of the news that Pasqualoni wishes to be close to his family.

Senior Bowl Staffs: The staffs for the Bengals and Lions have been assigned to coach the Senior Bowl.

New York Giants: The Giants have completed their head coaching interview with Cowboys passing game coordinator / defensive backs coach Kris Richard, Adam Schefter tweets.

USF: As we reported this morning, the program has now officially announced the addition of Pat White as running backs coach.

Notre Dame: Defensive backs coach Todd Lyght will not return to the staff, Brian Kelly has announced.

Purdue: The program has formally announced the addition of Bob Diaco as defensive coordinator.

Cleveland Browns: Jimmy Haslam said Thursday the Browns will hire a head coach first, and that hire will have input in the GM hire. When asked about Bruce Feldman's report about having "strong interest" in Urban Meyer, Haslam responded "Right now, we're just focused on people with NFL experience."

Big Ten: Kevin Warren has officially assumed office as the Big Ten's sixth commissioner.

Eastern Kentucky (FCS): Erik Losey is joining the staff as offensive line coach, sources tell FootballScoop. Losey has previous coaching experience at Southern Miss, East Tennessee State, Alcorn State, and South Carolina among others.

Old Dominion: Source tells FootballScoop that Ricky Rahne will not retain defensive coordinator David Blackwell.

Memphis: Sam Curtis will serve as Ryan Silverfield's DFO, tweets John Martin of the ESPN Radio affiliate in Memphis. Curtis previously served in a similar post at USC.

Cleveland Browns: Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll will interview with the Browns on Sunday, Mary Kay Cabot tweets.

Josh McDaniels: The Patriots offensive coordinator is planning to conduct his interviews with interested teams Friday, January 10th Ian Rapoport tweets. McDaniels currently has requests from the Panthers, Browns and Giants.

Army: Nate Woody, who spent last season as a defensive analyst at Michigan after serving as the defensive coordinator and outside linebackers coach at Georgia Tech in 2018 and defensive coordinator at Appalachian State for a number of seasons before that, has been named the new defensive coordinator at Army.

USF: Source tells FootballScoop that Pat White is the new running backs coach at USF. White, the former West Virginia star, has spent the past two seasons as the quarterbacks coach at Alcorn State (FCS).

Abilene Christian (FCS - TX): Abilene Christian University located in Abilene, Texas has an immediate opening for a defensive volunteer assistant position. This is strictly a VOLUNTEER position; there is NO compensation, housing OR benefits. Position includes, but is not limited to: assisting with a position on the field and in the meeting room, video editing/coordinating, film sharing, manage and direct scout team, weekly data input, weekly analytics, and other duties assigned by the head coach. Ideal candidates are super-organized and have extreme knowledge in Hudl/video editing, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other computer skills. Toledo: Sources tell FootballScoop that Jason Candle is planning to hire a very successful high school coach for a possible coordinator role on his staff.

North Carolina: Mack Brown is making a change in direction at special teams and STC/outside linebackers coach Scott Boone will not return, sources tell FootballScoop. A 36-year coaching veteran, Boone has worked previously at Wake Forest, Arizona, Nevada and William & Mary and spent seven seasons as the head coach at Randolph-Macon College. We are told Mack is not expected to initiate any more staff changes.

Ole Miss: Lane Kiffin is adding former Maryland head coach DJ Durkin to his staff as an assistant, Pete Thamel tweets. Neal McCready adds that the additions of Chris Partridge and Joe Jon Finley will become official today as well.

Louisiana-Lafayette: The Cajuns are so pleased with Billy Napier's school-record 10 wins this season that they've extended him a second time in the past three months.

Tennessee: The bonus total for Jeremy Pruitt's staff for their bowl appearance today total $528,995 according to the Knoxville News Sentintel. The Vols take on Indiana tonight in the Gator Bowl.

Atlanta Falcons: Ian Rapoport tweets that defensive passing game coordinator Jerome Henderson and assistant defensive line coach Travis Jones will not return to the staff.

Georgia: Kirby Smart believes there's a "disease" at Georgia regarding player development.

Ohio: Frank Solich has signed an extension to remain at Ohio. Details here.

Dallas Cowboys: Jason Garrett is slated to hold Day 3 (of ???) of meetings with the Jones family today.

Alderson Broaddus (D-II - WV): Per source, Davon Morgan has been hired to coach the defensive backs. Morgan is a former Virginia Tech defensive back who went on to play for the New York Jets before getting a start in coaching at Virginia State (D-II) and Virginia University Lynchburg (NCCAA).
