Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (D-III): The MIAC has announced that they're cancelling non-conference contests for the fall sports season.

Newberry (D-II - SC): Mitch Hall has been hired as Defensive Line Coach at Newberry College. Hall was previously Running Backs Coach at Presbyterian College

Miami: The program is pausing voluntary workouts after three players have tested positive for COVID, Manny Navarro tweets.

Arkansas Tech (D-II): Wyatt Anderson has joined the program as quarterbacks coach. Anderson previously coached the wide receivers at Black Hills State (D-II - SD).

MSCAC (D-III): The Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) has announced the decision to suspend the fall 2020 athletic season, including all indoor and outdoor athletic competition.

San Diego (FCS – CA): University of San Diego is accepting applications for an offensive internship opportunity. This is an entry-level role that will be responsible for coaching, administrative support, video/opponent breakdowns, and daily practice preparation. This is an unpaid internship and does not include housing or benefits. The final applicant must complete and successfully pass a background check prior to the predetermined start date. Non-monetary compensation for this unpaid internship includes occasional meals and an opportunity to coach and run drills at the Division 1 level. This is a unique opportunity that has allowed several former interns to move on and become GA’s or position coaches in the NCAA. UNLV: Gaizka Crowley has joined the UNLV staff as director of player personnel. Crowley spent the past few seasons as the director of recruiting and player personnel at Southern Illinois (FCS), and replaces Matt Leitch who took a job in the Miami Dolphins scouting department.

MEAC: The MEAC will announce today that it is not playing sports this fall, according to multiple reports. This would be the first scholarship Division I league to sit out the season.

D-III: Sources tell FootballScoop the Empire 8 will announce their members won't play football this Fall. Meanwhile, over in Pennsylvania, Keystone College has announced they intend to play this season despite the fact that their conference, the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference has stated they do not intend to play this Fall. Update> The Empire 8 has announced postponement of all football games for the Fall.

USC: Clay Helton was credited with nearly $4.6 million in total compensation in 2018, Steve Berkowitz tweets. Helton was credited with just over $3.2 million in 2017.

Pioneer League (FCS): It’s official – Division III member St. Thomas is making the unprecedented jump to Division I.

Ottawa University (NAIA - AZ): Ottawa University Arizona (NAIA-AZ): Ottawa University Arizona has two immediate openings for an Offensive Graduate Assistant Football Coach, preferably with experience in coaching Quarterbacks or Offensive Line, starting in summer 2020. College coaching and recruiting experience is preferred. Applicants must be accepted into the graduate program with a 3.0 GPA. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, equipment organization, practice planning, coaching a position group, leading meetings, film break down, player evaluation and recruiting, promotion and marketing of the program, and assisting in general day to day football operations. This position pays full tuition, a meal plan, as well as a healthy stipend.
