Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (D-II): The SIAC has announced the suspension of all fall sports through 2020. The SIAC is home to HBCU programs including Albany State, Benedict College, Central State University, Clark Atlanta, Fort Valley State, Kentucky State, Lane College, Miles College, Morehouse College, Savanna State, Spring Hill College and Tuskegee.

Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (D-II): The CIAA has suspended all NCAA fall competitions and is exploring moving them to the spring. The league has unanimously agreed to honor all athletic scholarships for fall student athletes. League schools include: Bowie State, Elizabeth City State, Fayetteville State, Johnson C. Smith, Lincoln University (PA), Livingstone College, Saint Augustine's, Shaw University, Virginia State, Virginia State, Virginia Union, Winston Salem State, and Chowan.

NJCAA: NJCAA President and CEO Dr. Christopher J. Parker has announced a recommendation that "a majority of NJCAA competition move to the spring semester of 2021," and an official plan of action will be decided July 13th.

CFB in the Fall?: Ohio State AD Gene Smith when asked about his level of confidence we'll have a 2020 season said he's no longer cautiously optimistic. "I am very concerned."

Big Ten: The Big Ten is reportedly set to announce it will implement a conference-only season this fall. More here.

Oberlin (D-III - OH): Following the announcement of the NCAC, Oberlin has announced it will not compete in sports this fall.

Urban Meyer: Urban says there's "no chance" he'd support moving the season to the spring.

Washington: Chris Petersen has landed a new gig at Washington, and funny enough, it's a role he described in pretty astonishing detail at the press conference back in December announcing a coaching change.

North Coast Athletic Conference (D-III): The NCAC has announced a number of principles that will guide fall competition for member schools that include a conference-only schedule based on geographical groupings that eliminate overnight travel, a commitment to consistent baseline health and safety protocols, and Friday September 18th as the first permissible contact date. The NCAC consists of the following schools in Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania; Denison, Wittenberg, Wabash, Ohio Wesleyan, DePau, Wooster, Allegheny, Kenyon, Oberlin, and Hiram.

LIU (FCS - NY): LIU has announced the hiring of two new coordinators. Details here.

LSU: Ed Orgeron says he's been told that, in all likelihood, LSU is playing this fall.

East Stroudsburg (D-II - PA): James Daniels, the defensive backs coach at East Stroudsburg, has been chosen for a Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship position with the Devner Broncos.

Quincy (D-II - IL): Quincy University has an opening for a defensive graduate assistant position. The defensive grad assistant position will be in charge of coaching their own position and recruiting their own area. The position includes a full tuition waiver for 15 credit hours a year and a stipend. Southeast Missouri State(FCS): SEMO is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of defensive quality control. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): film breakdown, playbook updates/revisions and any other duties assigned by the head coach and defensive coordinator. Candidate must have experience with (or be able to learn) XOs film system, Microsoft Visio/PowerPoint and Google Docs. Defensive back experience is preferred. Nevada: Source tells FootballScoop Jashon Sykes is joining the Nevada-Reno staff as senior associate AD for football administration. Sykes spent the past seven plus seasons at San Diego State as director of football operations and then assistant AD for football operations. He previously served as director of football operations at Colorado, his alma mater.

Cincinnati: Source tells FootballScoop Greg Gillum has joined Luke Fickell's staff as chief of staff. Gillum was on staff at Ohio State from 2005-15 and has worked with Columbus City Schools the past five years.

St. Francis (NAIA - IL): St Francis is looking for a qualified defensive assistant coach for a restricted earnings position. Applicants must be available all day long in the fall for game planning as well as practice. The coach will run their own position group meetings and will also be required required to assist with game planning, and equipment. Position will pay 6-8K. Ivy League (FCS): After much anticipation, the Ivy League has made an official decision on football.

Georgia: For programs looking for creative ways to adapt during the pandemic, allow Kirby Smart to share his reasoning behind why there is value in players helping to sanitize the weight room.

Austin Peay (FCS - TN): Per source, veteran offensive line coach Mike Markuson has joined the staff as offensive line coach. Markuson has previous coaching stops at Boise State, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Wisconsin, Eastern Illinois, UTSA, and with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (CFL).

Ohio State: The Buckeyes paused all voluntary workouts last night following the results of their most recent COVID-19 testing.

Cancelled Fall Sports: Carleton College (D-III - MN), Case Western Reserve (D-III - OH), and Oberlin College (D-III - OH) have cancelled fall sports, including football.

ESPN: ESPN is reportedly considering having Kirk Herbstreit pull Saturday-Monday double duty this fall. More here.

Midwest Prep (Postgrad - IL):Midwest Prep Sports Academy has postponed their 2020 season and decided to play in spring of 2021. The Academy is looking for 2021 college / university JV opponents that have also postponed their seasons, due to Covid 19 concerns. Midwest Prep is looking for opponents preferably in the Midwest but will travel to campuses across the country, if necessary.
