Auburn: Auburn is postponing the beginning of spring practices. The Tigers were scheduled to begin Monday.

Buffalo: Buffalo has temporarily suspended all in-person recruiting operations, Lance Leipold announces.

Oklahoma: OU has suspended all competitions and "out-of-season practices and workouts" until further notice.

XFL: The league plans to suspend operations, but is expected to play a championship game in a few weeks time, PFT reports. As it sits currently, the league has played five of their planned ten week schedule. Update >>Commissioner Oliver Luck has shared that the XFL will not play its regular season games and that all players will be paid their base pay and benefits for the 2020 season.

NFL: The first-ever HBCU combine has been cancelled.

Green Bay Packers: Butch Barry has been offically announced as a senior analyst, Luke Getsy now holds the quarterbacks caoch / passing game coordinator title, and Jason Vrable has been named receivers coach after spending last season as an offensive assistant.

COVID-19: Entire Power Five conferences are suspending all athletic related activities, including spring practices and recruiting.Update: The NCAA has now canceled all winter and spring championship events.

Louisiana Tech: Louisiana Tech has announced they are postponing all recruiting related activities and public visits to their facility until further notice.

Missouri Southern State (D-II): Terrell Richardson has been hired to coach the safeties, source tells FootballScoop. Richardson previously served as in an operations graduate assistant role at ECU.

NFL: Commissioner Roger Goodell has announced that the league's annual owners meeting scheduled for for March 29 - April 1 has been cancelled. The league's release adds that "there will be full consideration and votes on any open football issues, including playing rules, bylaws, and resolutions as well as other business matters" that were on the original agenda.

Penn State: The program has announced that they are postponing all football-related activities "until further notice."

Mountain West: The league has suspended all spring sports, and left the decision of whether or not to hold spring practices up to the discretion of individual institutions.

Duke: Duke has announced a suspension of all activities and that applies to "all athletic competitions and practices."

CFL: The Canadian Football League has cancelled their combine.

SEC: The SEC has decided to suspend on and off-campus recruiting through March 30th.

USC: Spring practices have been cancelled indefinitely at USC.

Ole Miss: The Rebels have announced that they're pushing back the start of spring football practices to March 30th.

Illinois: Lovie Smith has announced that they have cancelled all campus visits amid the spread of COVID-19 to protect the safety of coaches, players, and staff.

North Carolina Central (FCS): Source tells FootballScoop that former Florida State running backs coach Donte Pimpleton will be the new receivers coach / recruiting coordinator at NCCU.

Notre Dame: The Fighting Irish are suspending football activities and will not host recruits or recruiting activities until further notice.

NFL: NFL organizations are beginning to pull coaches and scout off the road.

Coronavirus: It's time to ask if the NCAA should suspend all football practices and in-person recruiting for the time being.

Mike Sanford, Sr: The former UNLV head coach has a new coaching job in Las Vegas.

Patriot League: The FCS Patriot League has announced that they're cancelling all spring practices and competitions. They join the Ivy League as entire conferences who has announced a cancellation of spring practices.

Worcester State (D-III - MA): Joe Beveridge, who coached the running backs for the program last season, has been announced as head coach at Westboro HS (MA).

USF: USF has announced that they're cancelling spring practices and the school is assessing future practices and the scheduled spring game.

Seattle Seahawks: Along with the official promotions of Dave Canales (from quarterbacks coach to passing game coordinator), and Austin Davis (from offensive assistant to quarterbacks coach), the organization has also announced Steve Hutchinson as a football consultant in personnel, Aaron Curry as a defensive assistant, and offensive scheme specialist Brennan Carroll has added the title of run game coordinator, and secondary coach Nick Sorensen adds Nickel specialist to his duties. Also, Sanjay Lal (senior offensive assistant), Damione Lewis (defensive assistant) and Keli'i Kekuewa (offensive assistant) are new additions to the staff as well.

Coronavirus: Ohio State and Michigan suspend recruiting amid coronavirus outbreak.

Lenoir-Rhyne (D-II - NC): Lenoir-Rhyne University is currently accepting applicants for a Defensive Back graduate assistant position. This position is responsible for assisting with the development of the Defensive Backs on and off the field, assist with special teams, recruit an assigned area, and complete additional tasks assigned by the Head Coach. The successful applicant must have a college degree and also must gain acceptance into graduate school. Minimum Cumulative GPA requirements for graduate school admittance is 2.7. Lehigh (FCS - PA): Per source, Alex Stadler has been named offensive line coach at Lehigh. He was previously an offensive assistant at Wake Forest, as well as offensive line coach at Virginia State (D-II) and Sul Ross State (D-III - TX).

Massachusetts Maritime (D-III – MA): MMA currently has two intern positions available. All positions will be considered. Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with preference being given to those with recruiting, strength & conditioning or social media experience. Knowledge of Hudl and or FrontRush is a plus. Candidates will be responsible for coaching their own position, recruiting a specific area, film breakdown and all of duties assigned by the head coach. Compensation is $13,000.00 spread over a 12 month commitment that comes with housing and meals (when classes are in session).
