Washington & Jefferson College (D-III - PA) offensive line coach/recruiting coordinator Todd Young died Thursday morning, the school has announced. Young spent 20 seasons on the W&J coaching staff. Please keep his friends, family and the entire program in your prayers.

West Virginia: Source tells FootballScoop Jeff Casteel is returning to West Virginia as a defensive analyst. Casteel was on staff at WVU from 2001-2011, most of that time as defensive coordinator. He then went on to serve as defensive coordinator at Arizona and Nevada (most recently).

South Dakota State: Source tells FootballScoop Wisconsin Whitewater defensive coordinator Rob Erickson is expected to join the South Dakota State staff as special teams coordinator.

Colorado: Brett Maxie is expected to be Colorado's defensive backs coach, per Brian Howell of the Boulder Daily Camera.

Cal: Cal has announced that Peter Sirmon is now the Bears' defensive play-caller and Tim DeRuyter will be associate head coach and co-defensive coordinator.

Philadelphia Eagles: Marty Mornhinweg has joined the staff as a senior offensive consultant. The former Lions head coach worked for the Eagles for 10 seasons from 2003-12, the last seven as offensive coordinator.

Rice: Mike Bloomgren announced Thursday the promotion of Chris Monfiletto, who served in a quality control role with the Owls’ offense in 2019, to tight ends coach and Sanders Davis, who was an offensive graduate assistant last season, to offensive line coach.

William Jewell (D-II - MO): Head coach Mike McGlinchey has announced an update for his staff. Hires include Neil Linhart as offensive coordinator, Clarence Anderson as receivers coach, Jerome Riase as defensive coordinator and Louis Cortes as defensive backs.

Kansas: Bill Queisert has joined the Kansas staff as an offensive grad assistant working with the offensive line.

Carthage College (D-III - WI):  Carthage College has an opening for a restricted earnings position on the defensive side. Position will be coaching the defensive line, have his own recruiting area, and responsible for a variety of duties as assigned by the head coach and defensive coordinator. Florida State: Chuck Cantor has re-joined the staff as director of player personnel, tweets Bruce Feldman.

Michigan: Michigan has confirmed the hiring of Mike DeBord as an offensive analyst. This will be DeBord's third stint on the staff, having coordinated Lloyd Carr's offenses from 1997-99 and 2006-07.

Presbyterian (FCS - SC): DaRon Dickey will move from defensive backs to linebackers coach.

Missouri S&T (D-II): McKendree (D-II - IL) associate AD Melissa Ringhausen has been named the AD at Missouri S&T. She will replace Mark Mullin, who retires in September after 28 years on the job.

Kansas State: Syracuse linebackers coach Steve Stanard will be the new linebackers coach at K-State Pete Thamel has tweeted.

Georgia Southern: Mississippi State deputy AD/CFO Jared Benko will be the new AD at Georgia Southern, tweets ESPN's Adam Rittenberg.

Ball State: Ball State is seeking applicants for their Director of Recruiting Operations position. The Director of Recruiting Operations plans, schedules and oversees the entire recruiting process including prospect identification, evaluations, official visits, unofficial visits. This position maintains and manages all recruiting calendars, schedules, databases. and implementing plans and managing all social media platforms for the team. Scott Cochran: Details have emerged as to why Scott Cochran left Alabama.

Minot State (D-II - ND): The program has announced Mike Scheper as defensive coordinator. Scheper, who recently coached the defensive line for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, has spent the last 6 years coaching in the CFL. Zac Cunha (running backs) and Alex Ney (defensive line) have also been added to the staff.

South Dakota State (FCS): The program has announced John Johnson as running backs coach. Johnson, who previously coached running backs for South Dakota State, coached in the AAF for the 2019 "season".

New Mexico State: New Mexico State has announced a conclusion into alleged misconduct by head coach Doug Martin.

Coaching Turnover: Half of all FBS head coaches have been on the job for two seasons or less.

UMass: Cato June has joined the staff as outside linebackers coach. June spent the past several seasons at Howard.

Toledo: Source tells FootballScoop Butler tight ends coach Craig Neece has accepted a defensive assistant role with Toledo.

LSU: LSU announced Corey Raymond is taking on the "recruiting coordinator" title and Mickey Joseph has been named assistant head coach.
