Missouri Western (D-II): Dalton Franks has joined the staff in a defensive graduate assistant role. Franks spent last season as an assistant at Texarkana ISD (TX).

North Carolina: Steve Ruzic, who previously served as the director of recruiting on PJ Fleck's staff at Minnesota, has accepted the assistant director of player personnel position with the Heels. Ruzic was an instrumental part of the Gophers signing two of the highest rated classes in school history during his time with the program.

Tusculum (D-II - TN): Tusculum University has an IMMEDIATE opening for two defensive graduate assistant coaching positions (defensive line and defensive backs). Preference will be given to individuals with collegiate playing and/or prior coaching experience. A Bachelor’s degree and valid driver’s license is required. The position includes housing, meals, and tuition waiver for graduate school. There are NO stipends or benefits associated with these positions. Berry (D-III - GA): Berry College is looking to hire a full-time offensive line coach. This is a 10-month appointment. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. Previous coaching and teaching experience on the NCAA Division III collegiate level is preferred. This position includes competitive benefits and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Akron: John Morookian, who spent the 2020 season as a offensive senior analyst at Kansas, has been named tight ends coach.

Harding (D-II - AR): Harding University has two graduate assistant openings for the 2021 season, one on offense and one on defense. However the best available candidate regardless of position experience will be hired. Harding is seeking candidates with tremendous passion, relentless energy, a strong desire to be involved with all levels of recruiting, and a christian faith. Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) assisting with a position group and strength and conditioning program, recruiting, film breakdown, and academic monitoring. McMurry (D-III - TX): McMurry Football is accepting applicants for a Defensive Backs (or) Linebacker/Assistant Coach position on defense. This position is a 10-month contract with benefits, this in an entry-level position. Prior experience playing or coaching defensive backs (or) linebackers at the college level is preferred. Valparaiso (FCS - IN): Valparaiso University has an intern position opening coaching on Defense. This position is available to those aspiring to get into the coaching profession. Position includes, but is not limited to: coaching own position, recruiting assigned area, video editing/coordinating, film sharing, manage and direct scout team, weekly data input, weekly reports, and other duties assigned by the head coach. Ideal candidates are organized and have knowledge in Hudl/video editing, Microsoft Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint and other computer skills. This is a Volunteer Position, with potential stipend. Pacific University (D-III – OR): Pacific University has an opening for a defensive assistant coach. Experience coaching and recruiting at the college level is strongly preferred. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Coaching or assisting with a position group, recruiting your own area, player development, academic oversight, leadership training and additional assigned duties. Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (required). Stipend 16k/year. Not eligible for benefits. Position Available: mid-summer start date. Multiple Bracket Coverage Variations from 2-High Shell:Wheeling Park High School (WV) is a Quarters/Man Free outfit and while it bases out of two-high structure, oftentimes it will play some sort of man free package to defend particular personnel and formation groupings. Buffalo Bills: Sophia Lewin, who spent the 2020 season as an offensive quality control coach at Princeton (FCS), has been hired by the Bills as an offensive assistant, per multiple reports.

Southeast Missouri (D-II): SEMO has found their new defensive coordinator, and he's coming from the PAC-12.

Franklin Pierce Univ. (D-II – NH): FPU is accepting applications for a Defensive Backs/Assistant Coach position on defense. This is a 12 month contract with benefits. Salary will be $24,000 per year. Prior experience playing or coaching defensive backs at the college level is required. This position comes with no housing or meals. Blinn (JC - TX): Blinn College is accepting applications for defensive backs assistant coach. This is a 12 month, benefits eligible position with a salary range of $28,364 yr. Essential Duties: Work closely with the Head Coach and Assistant Coaches to help to teach, mentor and monitor the young men/women involved in the Blinn athletic program. Assist the coach(s) in practice, games or events. Ability to travel with the team and/or coaching staff to games, events and recruitment. Assist in the supervision of extra-curricular activities. Compiles sports information, including but not limited to statistics and reporting, as assigned. Assists with promotions and marketing of the Blinn College athletic program. Helps maintain the athletic equipment and facilities. Assists with scouting, recruiting and other work related duties. Attend all required meetings with Athletic Director. Assist in supervising the strength and conditioning program. Assist in the supervision of the Colleges residence halls and dining hall. Adhere to all Blinn College policies and procedures. Adhere to all NJCAA rules and regulations. Performs other related tasks as assigned. Preferred Experience: Enrollment in an accredited graduate degree program throughout the period of employment. Bachelor’s degree in Health or Kinesiology from an accredited college or university or relevant certification. Coaching experience at the Junior College, University or High School level. Coaching experience with defensive backs. Proficient using Hudl software or other video software. Knowledge of the Southwest Junior College Football Conference rules and regulations.
