FBS Staff Tracker: The 2020-21 FBS Staff Tracker page, where you can see how each new head coach is filling their staff, is up and running.

Western Carolina: This one is now official, Kerwin Bell has been named head coach of the Catamounts.

Southern (FCS - LA): Southern has discussed its coaching vacancy with Marshall Faulk, according to NFL Network. More here.

NCAA: The NCAA board of governors has unanimously extended Mark Emmert's contract through Dec. 31, 2025. More here.

The Spring League: The Spring League has an immediate need for a head athletic trainer. The position needs to be filled as soon as possible. The head athletic trainer will oversee four teams based in Indianapolis. Meals & lodging provided, in addition to compensation. Full-time, approximate 6-week position, running through mid-June. Minnesota Morris (D-III): Minnesota Morris is seeking an Offensive Intern Assistant Coach position. This is a 9 month position $8,000 salary, housing with meals included. No benefits. The position responsibilities include, coaching a position, recruiting, assist with video, and duties as assigned. Review of applicants will begin immediately. Eastern Kentucky (FCS): Head coach Walt Wells has inked a one-year contract extension taking him through the 2024 season. EKU was able to complete a 9-game schedule back in the fall, and the Colonels went 3-6 with one of those win coming against a top 25 Central Arkansas squad.

Anderson (D-III - IN): Anderson University has four available assistant coach interns (4 Positions). Looking for candidates with interest and experience in; recruiting operations, graphic design, strength & conditioning. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting the head coach in recruiting, assisting the athletic department in strength and conditioning instruction and supervision, player development, team building, practice oversight, academic oversight, and coaching an assigned position group. Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (required). Also required are previous playing or coaching experience at the collegiate level; ability to recruit in Indiana and other assigned states; ability to use various technologies to supplement coaching and recruiting responsibilities; ability to work as a part of a team environment; a demonstrated commitment to the Anderson University mission and Christian lifestyle. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate with a diverse student body, faculty and staff; effective problem solving skills and personal initiative. Must meet university lifestyle expectations. Candidates with graphic design and extensive recruiting interest/experience preferred. Benefits: Housing provided, along with a stipend. Not eligible for benefits. Wagner (FCS - NY): Wagner College is looking to hire a Director of Football Operations/Video Coordinator. Duties will include but are not limited to: day to day operations, team travel, coordinating video, on campus recruiting coordination, budgeting, program organization, camp organization, and will report directly to the Head Coach/Coordinators. Applicants should have experience with DVSports, Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and ARMS. Idaho: Sources tell FootballScoop that assistant head coach / offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Kris Cinkovich has decided to retire. Cinkovich is a college coaching veteran with previous stops at Carroll (NAIA - MT), UNLV and Arkansas. He had been at Idaho with Paul Petrino since 2013.

Chaffey (JC - CA): Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, CA is hiring a running backs coach. This is a stipend position that will pay close to 10,000 over 10 months. Local coaches encourage to apply. Responsibilities include recruiting your position and an assigned area, helping with the matriculation process for your position group, mentoring your players, coaching your position group’s fundamentals and scheme, preparing for and running position meetings, assisting with special teams, assisting with weekly game planning, film breakdown and data entry (HUDL), and other duties assigned by the head coach and coordinator. The ideal candidate would have a minimum 1 year coaching experience or collegiate playing experience. The position start date is as soon as possible. Review of candidates will begin immediately. Tennessee State (FCS): Source tells FootballScoop Eddie George is adding another former NFLer to his offensive staff at Tennessee State.

Brown (FCS): Brown University football has made multiple position changes within its coaching staff including tight ends coach Ryan Mattison being promoted to offensive coordinator, running backs coach Eric Bunker moving to wide receivers, and outside linebackers coach Willie Edwards shifting to running backs coach.

Wagner (FCS - NY): Wagner College is looking to hire a Football Equipment Manager. Duties will include: purchasing, maintenance, and distribution of all athletic equipment for Football. Research and contact all vendors, request and review bids and establish delivery schedules. Daily laundering of all uniforms and practice apparel, as well as maintenance and repair of all non-apparel equipment, manage the distribution and collection of all equipment to student-athletes and coaches, as well as inventory control. Comply with NCAA rules regarding equipment (uniform standards, distribution and collection of apparel) and managing the individual sport equipment budget. Track expenses and Reconcile all accounts. Position will report directly to the Head Coach/Coordinators. Applicants should have experience within the field.
