NCAA: Here are the changes the NCAA is prepared to recommend that would allow athletes to market their name, image and likeness.

Clarion (D-II - PA): Clarion University is seeking applicants for an offensive graduate assistant coaching position working with an offensive skill position. Duties will include coaching a designated position group, film editing/breakdown (HUDL), Special projects by OC, recruiting a specific geographic area, academic monitoring, and other duties assigned by the head football coach. Must be enrolled in 6 graduate school credits to start Fall of 2020 (Online). Compensation in the form of a hourly stipend, while a reduced housing cost is also available. Start date July 2020. Return to practice timeline: 4 weeks? 8 weeks? 10 weeks? According to a report, the NCAA Oversight Committee has made a suggestion on the practice period length for college football teams before returning to play in the fall. 

Grand Valley State (D-II - MI): After 10 seasons on staff, offensive line coach Tim Morrison is leaving to become the head coach / athletic director at Clarion-Goldfield-Dow HS (Clarion, IA).

CFB Scheduling: Bob Bowlsby’s idea to split the college football season may be the wackiest one yet — and could it also be the most realistic?

Bluffton (D-III - OH): Bluffton University has an immediate opening for a graduate assistant football coach / Tight Ends. This is a 10 month position which reports to the head football coach and director of athletics. The position includes housing, meals, stipend and graduate school. The assistant is responsible for the following; daily implementation of academic monitoring/mentoring, on field position coach, recruiting both on and off campus in accordance with university, HCAC and NCAA policies and procedures, video/academic support for assigned position players and other duties as assigned. Qualifications for this position include; Bachelor’s Degree, experience coaching and/or playing on the offensive side and acceptance into Masters of Business/Masters of Education program.
