Oregon State: Phoenix College passing game coordinator/wide receivers coach Kerry Taylor will join Oregon State's staff as a quality control assistant working with the wide receivers.
Houston: A.J. Ricker and A.J. Blum will join Major Applewhite's staff, sources tell FootballScoop.
Oregon State: Gary Andersen has signed a contract extension keeping him in Corvallis through the 2021 season, the school has announced. Andersen went 2-10 his first season with the program, and they posted a 4-8 mark this year with a win over rival Oregon for the first time since the 2007 season.
Temple: Defensive coordinator Phil Snow noted this evening that the entire defensive staff will stay intact for the Military Bowl.
Georgia State: UTC linebackers coach Rusty Wright will coach the linebackers on Shawn Elliott's staff at Georgia State.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Charles Robinson reports that if Tom Coughlin doesn't land with the Jags as their new head coach, he could rejoin the organization in an executive role, perhaps as VP of football operations.
Georgia State: Per source, Western Carolina (FCS) linebackers coach Chris Collins has accepted the safeties job at Georgia State, and Lexington HS (SC) athletic director / head coach Josh Stepp is joining the staff as well and will coach the running backs and tight ends. Also, we understand Georgia Military College corners coach / assistant strength coach Daniel Wilcox is joining the staff in a player development / recruiting role.
North Dakota (FCS): Head coach Bubba Schweigert has signed a contract extension keepping him with the program through the 2021 season. Schweigert's teams have improved each season in his three years at the helm, including a Big Sky title and appearance in the FCS playoffs this past season where they finished 9-3.
New York Giants: The NFL has fined the Giants $150,000 and head coach Ben McAdoo $50,000 for illegal use of walkie talkies during their game against the Cowboys, per Adam Schefter. The NFL has also moved the Giants 4th round pick in the 2017 draft to the back of the fourth round, after all compensatory picks, Schefter adds.
Notre Dame: Mike Elko has now been formally announced as the Irish's new defensive coordinator.
Dallas Cowboys: The Cowboys have apparently hired the NFL's first "intimidation coach."
Ohio State: Sources tell FootballScoop that Urban Meyer has promoted recruiting analyst Eron Hodges to assistant director of player personnel where he will work closely with director of player personnel Mark Pantoni.
Illinois Wesleyan (D-III): Illinois Wesleyan University is seeking a graduate assistant to work with the football program coaching receivers. Candidates must be interested in a degree in Kinesiology and Recreation, must have a 3.0 GPA as an undergrad. FAU: Industry sources tell us Lane Kiffin has had productive conversations with Kendal Briles about joining the FAU staff as offensive coordinator. We are told he is a strong candidate for the position.

Arizona State: Kansas offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coachRob Likens is leaving for a position at Arizona State, per Rivals. He previously coached the wide receivers at Cal. Arizona State has announced that Likens will coach the wide receivers with the program.
Kansas: Offensive analyst Garrett Riley has been promoted to an on-the-field position and will work with the quarterbacks.

Georgia State: Source tells FootballScoop Trent McKnight will join Shawn Elliott's staff coaching the receivers. McKnight previously coached receivers at both Georgia Military College and at Samford.
North Alabama (D-II): Legendary head coach Bobby Wallace will retire from coaching this afternoon at a press conference, according to multiple reports. In the past four seasons, Wallace has led North Alabama to a 35-9 record, including an 11-2 mark this past season with a loss in the Division II national title game. He previously led the program to three national titles as their head coach in 1993, 1994, and 1995 before leaving to become the head coach at Temple. From 2006-2012 he led the West Alabama (D-II) program and in 2012 he returned to UNA as head coach and has led the program the past decade.
Nevada: Sources tell FootballScoop the offensive staff at Nevada is coming together quickly with Mason Miller, Timmy Chang and Eric Scott all expected to join the staff. Miller, Tarleton State's associate head coach / offensive coordinator, is expected to coach the offensive line. Chang, Emory & Henry's offensive coordinator, is expected to coach inside receivers and Miller, Los Angeles High head coach, is expected coach outside receivers.
East Coast Prep (MA): East Coast Prep in Great Barrington, MA is seeking 3 assistant coaches for the 2017 season. You will coach your own position and have off field duties as assigned by the head coach. This is a 4 month position, August thru November and includes a stipend, room and board. Arizona: Scott Boone has now officially been announced as linebackers coach.
Les Miles: Asked on the Dan Patrick show about the possibility of working in the media, Miles responded, "That's not off the table, but first and foremost I want to coach."
Wilmington College (D-III - OH): Bryan Moore, the offensive coordinator at Bluffton College (D-III - OH), has been named head coach. Prior to joining Bluffton's staff, Moore was a pivotal part of resurrecting the Heidelberg (D-III - OH) program, where he helped lead the team to an 8-2 finish and playoff appearance.
Nebraska-Kearney (D-II): Head coach Josh Lamberson has been offered the offensive coordinator position at Abilene Christian (FCS) on Adam Dorrel's staff; however Lamberson has yet to decide whether he plans to accept the position. In a rather unusual move, Kearney AD Paul Plinske released a statement this morning acknowledging the situation, noting "Once he has made a decision, we will let you know if there is news to share."
Anna Maria College (D-III - MA): Anna Maria College located in Paxton, MA is accepting applications for a full-time offensive coordinator. The position of offensive coordinator reports to the head coach and is responsible for assisting the entire operation of the program including (but not limited to) the recruitment of student-athletes, film breakdown and evaluation, practice planning, participate in player skill development, meetings with players and staff and other duties assigned by the head coach. Candidates should have success coaching or playing football, 3 – 5 years at the collegiate level, the ability to recruit and motivate student-athletes, a strong commitment to academic success as well as compliance with the NCAA and institutional policies and procedures. Bachelor’s Degree required. Screening of applicants will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. Colorado: Joe Tumpkin, who coached the safeties the past two seasons, will call the defensive plays and coach the linebackers in the Alamo Bowl against Oklahoma State on December 29th. Additionally, corners coach Charles Clark will work with the safeties, and graduate assistants Corey Edsall and Chidero Uzo-Diribe will have larger roles leading up to the bowl game. Head coach Mike MacIntyre notes that he will focus on finding a permanent replacement for Leavitt after their bowl game.
LA Rams: The Rams are "moving toward a meeting with ESPN analyst Jon Gruden" regarding the team's vacant head coaching position according to Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports, who add that they understand that Gruden is more inclined to listen to opportunities if the organization is willing to grant him full authority on personnel. The report adds that "other candidates could also come into play - notably David Shaw and Sean Payton." Robinson also added "The team also had initial interest in Pete Carroll and Jim Harbaugh but both quickly brushed off consideration for the opening."
San Jose State: Oregon State safeties coach Derrick Odum will become the new defensive coordinator at SJSU, per Gina Mizell. Odum spent the past two seasons at Oregon State and the prior seven seasons at SMU. He previously coached at Utah, Houston, Utah State and Montana. This will be his first time serving as defensive coordinator.
Northern Michigan (D-II): Sources tell FootballScoop that Ferris State (D-II - MI) co-defensive coordinator Kyle Nystrom has accepted the head coaching job at Northern Michigan. Nystrom helped lead Ferris State to the Division II semifinals this season, and previously served as the assistant head coach and specials teams coordinator at Central Michigan, and then interim head coach for the Chippewas following the departure of Dan Enos back in January of 2015.
Curry College (D-III - MA): Curry College invites applications for a part-time Assistant Coach for our Football Program. The vast majority of the Assistant Coach’s time is spent on coaching/teaching duties, while a minority of the Assistant Coach’s time is spent performing administrative duties.
