Norfolk State (FCS - VA): Head coach Latrell Scott has announced the additions of Kermit Buggs (DC / DBs), and Zach Tenuta (LBs / run game coordinator). Buggs spent last season as the head coach at Kings Fork HS (VA) and Tenuta returns to the staff after a year as a defensive quality control assistant at UTEP.

Middle Tennessee: Colorado State defensive graduate assistant Bradley Brown is joining the staff as a defensive analyst, per source.

Cleveland Browns: Kevin Stefanski noted today that he will give offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt opportunities to call plays in practice and preseason and notes that who calls plays come the regular season is a "fluid situation."

LSU: Kevin Faulk confirms that he will be the team's new running backs coach.

Western Carolina (FCS): Andy McCollum has been hired as defensive coordinator / inside linebackers coach. McCollum most recently worked at Georgia Tech under Paul Johnson as linebackers coach / recruiting coordinator.

Miami: Former Buffalo running back Michael Forman has been hired as a graduate assistant working with the secondary with the 'Canes, per source. Forman previously coached the running backs at Bryant (FCS - RI).

North American University (NAIA - TX):North American University will play an independent schedule 2020 and join the NAIA in the near future. We just had a team drop out of our schedule and need another game. We currently have openings 9/12, 10/17, or 11/14. Vanderbilt: Tony Ball, who has previously coached at LSU and Georgia, has joined the staff as wide receivers coach. Ball has over thirty years of coaching experience and spent last season as the passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach at UTSA.

Rutgers: Timothy Silvernail has joined the staff as director of recruiting. Silvernail has previously worked at Buffalo, UMass, and Eastern Michigan.

Michigan: Michigan has canceled its overseas trip for 2020 due to the coronavirus.

Michigan State: Ross Els has been hired as special teams coordinator. Els spent three past three seasons coaching the linebackers at Colorado and served as special teams coordinator last fall for the Buffs under Mel Tucker. Els previously served as the defensive coordinator at Purdue before joining the Colorado staff.

South Carolina: Will Muschamp plans to assist with the linebackers during spring practices until new hire Rod Wilson learns the defensive vernacular. Wilson will take over the linebackers in the fall and then assistant Kyle Krants with the special teams.

Concordia (NAIA – MI): Concordia University in Ann Arbor has an IMMEDIATE opening for an offensive graduate assistant working with the Offensive Line. We are looking to fill the position before spring ball. Duties include recruiting qualified student athletes, use of recruiting software, camp operations, scouting, film breakdown, monitoring academic progress of student-athletes, along with any other duties assigned by the head coach and offensive coordinator. Wake Forest: Per source, recruiting assistant Russ Kieselhorst has been promoted to director of player personnel. Russ previously served as the director of player personnel at Marshall and as a team operations intern with the Tampa Bay Bucs.

Marshall: Georgia assistant director of player development Pat Bastein will be the defensive backs coach at Marshall, tweets Bruce Feldman.

Ohio State: Pending board approval, Ryan Day is getting a raise and three-year extension through the 2026 season, the school has announced. Here are the details.

Louisiana-Monroe: Per source, Tyler Bolfing is being promoted from tight ends / special teams coordinator to quarterbacks coach and Zach Muller is being promoted from special teams / offensive analyst to tight ends coach.

Georgia State: Colorado State offensive line graduate assistant Fred Zerblis has accepted the same role on the Georgia State staff, per source.

Sioux Falls (D-II - SD): The University of Sioux Falls has immediate openings for part-time coaches on both sides of the ball. Assistant Defensive Backs, Assistant Defensive Line and an Offensive Skill openings. Each position includes an annual $8,000 stipend, no housing, no meals. Primary responsibilities include assisting the head coach in all phases of the football program. Other responsibilities include coaching a position, film breakdown, recruiting, graphic design and data entry. Open positions are entry level. Georgia: Kirby Smart has hired away Alabama strength coach Scott Cochran to a an on-field position with the UGA. Cochran will serve as special teams coordinator.

Kilgore (JC - TX): Kilgore College has an immediate opening for an assistant football coach (linebackers). There will be a small stipend, housing and meals. The assistant coach is responsible for imputing practice, game, and opponent film into hudl. Also the assistant coach will be the Academic Coordinator working along side the academic advisors and professor here at Kilgore College.
