Mississippi State: Word is the search could be honing in on Alabama offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian. Aaron Suttles reports there is "some real interest on both sides". One source close to Sark told FootballScoop, "if they make a fair offer, he'll take it." If this deal goes down, they must by Mississippi law rename the town #SarkVegas.

Wayne State College (D-II - NE): Chadron State (D-II - NE) offensive coordinator Logan Masters has been named the offensive coordinator at Wayne State College. Also, Scott McLaughlin will continue as defensive coordinator, Austin Flyger is joining the staff as special teams coordinator / defensive line coach and Wuincy Griffith is the new offensive line coach. Flyger was the defensive coordinator a Northern State (D-II - SD) and Griffith joins the staff after spending the past two seasons as a graduate assistant at Central Missouri (D-II).

Memphis: Former Ole Miss defensive coordinator Mike is a strong candidate to become defensive coordinator at Memphis tweets Pete Thamel.

Auburn: Offensive line coach JB Grimes has stepped down to pursue other opportunities.

Dallas Cowboys: The Cowboys are expected to hire John Fassel as their special teams coordinator, Tom Pelissero tweets. Fassel became available after his contract with the Rams was up.

Memphis: Offensive quality control analyst David Glidden has been promoted to tight ends coach.

Dallas Cowboys: Kellen Moore is leaning toward remaining with the team under Mike McCarthy, Mike Garafolo tweets. A report from earlier today stated that Moore was also considering the offensive coordinator position at the University of Washington.

Fresno State: Sources tell FootballScoop Lee Marks is expected to join Kalen DeBoer's staff coaching running back. Marks has coached running backs at Boise State the past five seasons. He also serves as co-special teams coordinator at Boise State.

Memphis: Former Ole Miss defensive backs coach Charles Clark has accepted the same role at Memphis Jonah Jordan has reported.

Eastern Kentucky: Source tells FootballScoop Nicholls State director of athletics Matt Roan is expected to accept the same position at EKU. Roan served as deputy director at EKU prior to accepting the AD position at Nicholls in late 2016.

Washington Redskins: Brent Vieselmeyer, who led the Santa Margarita HS (CA) program for one season, is leaving for a position with the Redskins according to the OC Register. Vieselmeyer previously worked with Redskins defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio as an assistant linebackers and then safeties coach with the Raiders. Also, Nat Kaczor (Redskins special teams coach) is being retained and former Bengals offensive coordinator Ken Zampese is interviewing for the quarterbacks job on staff, per Les Carpenter.

Baylor: Athletic director Mack Rhoades shares via a statement that: "We have launched a national search for our next head coach, and we will not make any comments on prospective candidates or where we are in the process until we are ready to introduce the next leader of our football program." // Our early look at Baylor's options.

Carolina Panthers: The team has formally announced the hire of Matt Rhule.

Oregon State: The Beavers and Jonathan Smith are finalizing a new six-year contract.

Arkansas: Per source, Florida State offensive graduate assistant Mark Cala is joining the Razorbacks staff as an offensive analyst.

Carolina Panthers: Jason La Canfora tweets that Matt Rhule is targeting Baylor defensive coordinator Phil Snow and Lions quarterbacks coach Sean Ryan for positions on his staff. Ralph Vacchiano notes that Rhule plans to target Ryan for his offensive coordinator position.

Dallas Cowboys: Mike McCarthy has now been formally introduced as the new head coach.

Arkansas: Former Missouri linebacker and graduate assistant Michael Scherer has accepted a position with the Razorbacks, per Gabe DeArmond.

Washington Redskins: Former Panthers assistant Scott Turner is joining the staff as offensive coordinator and they're working on finalizing the contract Albert Breer tweets.

TCU: Days ago we reported, per sources, that Doug Meacham was being hired at TCU. Sources tell us that move is now official.

Washington Redskins: After talk that he may be retained as Ron Rivera's offensive coordinator, Ian Rapoport tweets that Kevin O'Connell has received permission to speak with other teams about possible offensive coordinator positions.

Florida State: Source tells FootballScoop ULM defensive grad assistant Slade Buckley has accepted a similar role at Florida State. Buckley did a very nice job at ULM we hear.

South Alabama: Source tells FootballScoop that Southern Miss offensive graduate assistant Austin Sharp has left for an offensive graduate assistant opportunity at South Alabama.

Cleveland Browns: The Browns, who have already interviewed Eric Bieniemy, Greg Roman, and Robert Saleh have interviews planned for Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz (Wednesday), Vikings offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski (Thursday) and Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels (Friday), Adam Schefter tweets. Schefter adds that the Browns hope to have a deal in place by Saturday.

Edinboro (D-II - PA): Per source, the finalists for the Edinboro head coaching job are; St. Scholastica (D-III - MN) OC / WRs coach Bobby Acosta, Westminster (D-III - PA) head coach Scott Benzel, Millikin (D-III - IL) head coach Dan Gritti, and Indiana University Pennsylvania (D-II - PA) defensive backs coach Jake Nulph. We understand candidates will be on campus for interviews on Wednesday and Thursday.

Lock Haven (D-II - PA): Source tells FootballScoop that Frostburg State (D-II - MD) defensive coordinator John Kelling is expected to become the new head coach. Kelling has been at Frostburg State the past six seasons.

Hartwick (D-III - NY): Hartwick College is looking for an Offensive Coordinator. Will be responsible for coordinating the offense, coaching a position, recruiting Western New York, as well as assisting the Head Football Coach with all aspects of the daily operation. New York Giants: The Giants have requested permission from the Cowboys to interview Jason Garrett as offensive coordinator under Joe Judge, Ed Werner tweets. Update > Ralph Vacchiano later tweeted a clarification that the Giants did NOT request permission to speak to Garrett about the offensive coordinator job and that it was for the head coaching job before they decided to hire Joe Judge.

New York Giants:Ian Rapoport tweets that Matt Rhule called ownership before signing his deal with the Panthers and gave them the opportunity to match it, but the Giants declined and decided to hire Joe Judge instead.

Case Western (D-III - OH): Wide receivers coach Vince Gerace has accepted the head coaching job at Parma HS (OH).

New York Giants: The Giants have requested permission to interview former Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett, who remains under contract for another week, tweets Ian Rapoport. There's been plenty of reporting that Garrett has had his eye on this job, so stay tuned here.

UNLV: Tre Watson, who previously worked as a defensive graduate assistant on defense at Oregon, has been hired to coach the corners, per source.

Detroit Lions: Assistant offensive line coach Hank Fraley has been promoted to offensive line coach.

Carolina Panthers: Baylor's Matt Rhule is finalizing a deal to become the new head coach of the Panthers, according to a report. Sources have confirmed the news with FootballScoop.

Coastal Carolina: Sources tell FootballScoop that Furman (FCS - SC) defensive line coach Josh Miller is expected to join the Coastal Carolina staff.

Rutgers: St Joes (NJ) head coach Augie Hoffman has accepted a position on the Rutgers staff, per multiple reports. Hoffman spent six seasons at St. Joe and captured two state titles.

Dallas Cowboys: New coach Mike McCarthy would like to retain offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, but Moore also has an opportunity to become the offensive coordinator at Washington under Jimmy Lake, Ian Rapoport tweets, adding that Moore is currently thinking both opportunities over.

Rutgers: Rutgers landed Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Sean Gleeson by offering him a record breaking deal, per report.

Lindsey Wilson (NAIA - KY): Lindsey Wilson College is accepting applications for a restricted earnings assistant coach. This position will be responsible for coaching a position within the defensive front seven. Responsibilities include on-field coaching, recruiting, video editing, assisting with strength and conditioning, and other duties within the football program. Compensation includes housing, a Fall & Spring semester meal plan, and a $500 monthly stipend.
