NFL: NFL teams and the NFLPA are both now relaying that there will be no NFL preseason games this year.

Mountain East Conference (D-II): The Mountain East will delay the start of football practices to Sept. 7, with no games before Oct. 1. Interestingly, the conference says games scheduled for Sept. 4-30 will be rescheduled for the spring semester.

Edmonton (CFL): The team announced today it will retire the Eskimos nickname, going by the name of Edmonton Football Team or EE Football Team until a new nickname is chosen.

University of Mary (D-II - ND): The University of Mary has an immediate opening for a defensive graduate assistant. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to film breakdown, assisting in our secondary, your own recruiting area, and other duties assigned by the head coach. The position includes a full graduate school waiver, $3,750 stipend, and 75 meals per semester. This position does not include housing. Duquesne (FCS - PA): Cornelius Coleman, who spent last season on the Pitt staff and has prior experience at Robert Morris (FCS - PA) and Saint Vincent College (D-III), has joined the staff as defensive line coach.

Iowa Wesleyan (D-III): Iowa Wesleyan has an immediate opening for an Offensive Graduate Assistant Football Coach, with a start date AUG 1st. College coaching and recruiting experience is preferred. Applicants must be accepted into the graduate program with a 2.9 GPA. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, equipment organization, practice planning, coaching a position group, leading meetings, film break down, player evaluation and recruiting, promotion and marketing of the program, and assisting in general day to day football operations. College coaching and recruiting experience is preferred. Applicants must be accepted into the graduate program with a 3.0 GPA. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, equipment organization, practice planning, coaching a position group, leading meetings, film break down, player evaluation and recruiting, promotion and marketing of the program, and assisting in general day to day football operations. This position pays full tuition, a meal plan, as well as a healthy stipend.
