FBS Staff Tracker: The 2020-21 FBS Staff Tracker page, where you can see how each new head coach is filling their staff, is up and running.

Kentucky has announced that Steve Ortmayer, who served as the program's assistant head coach / special teams coordinator / tight ends coach under Rich Brooks from 2003-09, has passed. Please join us in praying for his family.

Michigan: As he heads into Year 7 in Ann Arbor, Michigan AD Warde Manuel is willing to be patient with Jim Harbaugh.

Kansas: Les Miles, who had about $8 million left on his contract that ran through 2023, and Kansas have announced a settlement for $1,991,062.50. Miles and key Kansas employees, including athletic director Jeff Long, agreed to a non-disparagement clause as a part of the settlement. Long attempted to defend giving Miles $2 million to walk out the door. It didn't go well.

New York Giants: Joe Judge and the Giants have announced a number of coaching staff changes including the addition of Rob Sale as offensive line coach (as we shared in early February), former Giants offensive line coach Pat Flaherty has joined the staff as a consultant, and Freddie Kitchens and Derek Dooley have switched roles. Kitchens, who coached the tight ends last year, will be a senior offensive consultant and Dooley will move from that role to tight ends. Former Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt has the title of senior defensive assistant.

Rockford College (D-III - IL): Will Lawhorn has accepted the offensive line / special teams coordinator position, per source. Lawhorn graduated from Rockford and played offensive line for the program.

Southeastern Oklahoma State (D-II): Southeastern Oklahoma State University is looking to hire a graduate assistant on the offensive side of the ball. Preferably offensive line experience. Duties will consist of working with offensive line and tight ends. Other duties will consist of working in Academic center, experience with social media graphics, Film breakdown, recruiting, along with other duties assigned by head coach. Highest Paid Coaches: After examining the highest-paid OL and DBs coaches, now it's time to look at wide receivers.

Webber International (NAIA - FL): Dazzie Morris, who spent this past season at Methodist University (D-III - NC) as the running backs coach, has joined the Webber staff as the offensive line coach and will also hold the title of run game coordinator, per source.

Elizabeth City State (D-II - NC): Elizabeth City State Universityis looking to fill a Linebacker position ASAP. Must be energetic, knowledgeable, highly organized and show commitment to leadership and developing young men both on and off the field. Previous experience coaching Linebackers is preferred, but not mandatory. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, coaching Linebackers, assisting on special teams, running meetings, film breakdown/scouting reports, defensive scout team organization, assisting in various recruiting efforts, in addition to other responsibilities designated by the coaching staff. No Housing or Benefits. A small stipend is available. Availability to practice and morning meetings is essential. Bret Bielema: There's an interesting new twist involving Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft in the Razorback Foundation vs. Bret Bielema saga.

Averett (D-III - VA): Averett will leave the USA South Conference for the Old Dominion Athletic Conference in all sports beginning July 1, 2022.

One-time transfers: According to a report, the NCAA is planning to move forward with on-time transfer rule...but there's a catch.

Oklahoma Panhandle State (NAIA): Due to a recent cancellation Oklahoma Panhandle State University is looking to host a home game on March 27, 2021. This must be a home game. Interested programs can contact Bob Majeski at 620-870-8599.

Ole Miss: Quincy Casimir, who has spent the last few seasons at Wake Forest in defensive graduate assistant and quality control roles, has joined the staff as assistant defensive backs coach.

Kansas: With Les Miles out, a look at potential candidates for the position.

Ohio State: Ohio State has paused all football related activities in response to an increase in Covid cases within the program.

Kansas: Word broke late last night that Les Miles is officially out as head coach of the Jayhawks.

Central Michigan: To fill his wide receivers job, Jim McElwain is hiring an FCS assistant who is entering their second week of the season, per source.

Bob Stoops: The former Oklahoma head coach has been tabbed to step into the role vacated by Urban Meyer on the Fox set.

Alabama: Former NC State defensive coordinator Dave Huxtable has joined the staff as an analyst, Matt Zenitz tweets.
